Hey chaps has anyone heard anything about the Tigers and Papalii form the eels

Apparently Papalii is due to sit down with Eels management for them to reconsider their offer, using, it seems, our offer as the lever to get them to up theirs. I will be very surprised if he comes to us, even if they offer him less, which they will. He wants to stay there and will take a cut in money to do so - that’s my read for what it’s worth. I don’t think he has had any intention to jump ship- another Api deal.

A player of his calibre 3 years ago. Typical Tigers signing, signing a player 3 or 4 years past his used by date. And if you think I’m just being negative for the sake of it, let me point you to Tamou, BJ, Roberts, can even argue Peachy. Nothing changes at this club.

I may be wrong, but as the saviour and messiah of WT, as touted by some luminaries on here, I watched the Nathan Cayless interview on the WT site and, from memory, I don't think he mentioned Timmy once in any reason for him coming here or in any direction for the future?

Can you get onto your sources please and let us know that Timmy is ok?

It's not an argument it's a fact all you do is sit around all day critiquing everyone's posts and rag on guys before they even play for us. Hastings Hodgson now Peachy? Like I'll trust Sheens views more then some bloke that probably spends most of there time on a forum spruiking negative crap day after day.

Mate, I don’t care whose views you trust and whose you don’t. I don’t need to see players who I’ve watched for years and already have formed an opinion of. No 32 year old with bad knees has ever recaptured form. I don’t need to wait till he puts our jumper on to know that. I will support him though and hope he proves me wrong. Stop playing the man.

Just reading that thread. He seems confident with his info. A lot of comments saying he had one good year. Not necessarily true. He looked the goods at the Warriors, so the year he had wasn’t a total surprise.
