Big boy season.
🐉

That should have a warning - it contains a photo of the player who has disrespected the Wests Tigers more than any other player other than Simona. Open at your own risk of throwing up.

Scumbag Woods!

Scumbag Woods!

Yet had the nerve to try and get a deal back here when no one wanted him !?

Dragons to continue their decline.
Tigers to better their ladder position next year.

What’s with all this hate for Laurie? He’s 22 and had played 3 NRL games before coming across. He joined late in the off season. And was expected to fill in an important role in an unsettled spine. Yes he’s got things to work on but so does after one after one year in the top grade.

not hate for Laurie just don't think he is or will be that special tedesco talent nsw Australian fullback etc
Laurie will be a very very solid first grade fullback maybe come five eighth hope he kills it but think will be a key part to a growing spine, not that special freak player

Not many players are. I’d take a good solid fullback at this point. I think he can build towards above being just solid personally.

If Dylan Edwards is a good enough fullback to win a comp with Laurie is more than good enough.

I actually can't remember daine dropping a single catch. The bloke is more than solid.

I can.

Anyone mentioned BJ's new club ?

Featherstone Rovers.
(Division 2 UK)

Downvote. Should've upgraded and extended him for 4 years.

Wests Tigers pursuit of Josh Hodgson is officially over with the hooker expected to see out the remaining season on his contract.

Talks between the Tigers and the Raiders have formally broken down despite months of negotiations.

The Tigers were keen on bringing the English international to the club for the next two years and Hodgson was keen to link up with coach Michael Maguire.

However the clubs have been unable to find middle ground in how they would split Hodgson’s final year of his contract – worth about $800,000.

The Tigers were keen to pay $500,000 but the Raiders wanted more of a contribution. In the end, talks at this stage have broken down.

Hodgson has already returned to pre-season training with Canberra. The ex-Canberra skipper will act as an insurance policy for Tom Starling who has an ongoing court appearance.

The Tigers have Jacob Liddle, Jake Simpkin and even new recruit Jackson Hastings as potential dummy half options.

glad we stuck to our guns Re: Hodgson and didn't roll over. would've been good to have him but it's not our fault Canberra bent their cap out of shape and wanted us to deal with the damage. onto the next. we may as well have a crack at Koroisau, I don't think Liddle is the answer long-term and we need to be patient with Simpkin, Rua and Anjoul.

This is a good outcome. The recruitment team appear to have a handle on the true value of what they want and what they’re prepared to pay given the risk involved.
I now see us going forward at a faster pace with Sheens and Madge seemingly operating in two vertical markets of Englishmen and Kiwis.

Great news. He wouldn’t have improved us. Now to focus on an area we actually need some strengthening.

Centre.

in my opinion I believe we (the tigers) should offer Api a 1+1 contract for the time being he's worth a shot.

What if API is still not happy to get the jab?
We could get him with a low ball offer and retrain him with hypnotherapy?

he needs to get a shot before he's worth a shot

he transformed Penrith's attack the past two seasons and just won a premiership. would do wonders for our side. doubt he leaves mind you.

Thx for the share.

I feel like we dodged a bullet here financially.

I think we need to aim big and jag a marquee.

Dogs have shown it can be done.
