Why do people still talk about turning marsters into a 2nd row ….. no! He’s doing fine

Didn't like the idea of Marsters in the centres at first but he has done really well so far, if he loses a couple more kilos he could be our centre fulltime. I mean he's already got the footwork going

Would take Papalli in a heartbeat, imagine him playing off the back of Packer and Mats!

He’s an origin player and for QLD which is a lot harder to break into a team who went like 8 series in a row so shows you how good he is.

Can’t see it happening but for good value of $, I’d take him for sure

Devastating ball runner when he is in form. However if everyone in the Tigers is fit who do you drop to fit him into our current pack.
On the bench we have MCK playing a high energy role off the bench, along with Aloiai, and Twal. Plus a utility.
If we where paying big money for a forward , i'd go for someone different. If Canberra were just trying to offload him and pay his wage. That's a different story

Well Benji finishs up this year I think, hoping Liddle plays 80 mins

Shift Papalli for Robbie or Rowdy, then put either on the bench and replace the 14 so you play with 4 forwards on the bench.

12\. Lawrence/Rochow
13\. ET

14\. Lawrence/ Rochow
15\. Eiso
16\. Alioia
17\. Twal

Then with the depth we have in the forward with Sue, MCK, Felise, McQueen, Garner and Grant to fight for spots

Our depth is good atm.
Those guys could all get offers from other clubs offering starting positions and seek releases tho.
They're all definitely first grade quality.

Rather than buying Papalli, I prefer Garner and Felise being promoted through as a reward for their continual improvement. Garner is a good runner of the ball and a try scorer.

Mikaele
Naiqama
And Marshall if he plays well for the rest of the year
Other off contract players include
JJF
GIBBS ??? Keeper or not ???

GRANT
SUE
DYLAN SMITH ??? Keeper or not???
With these off contract players who do we replace with
Do we keep Grant and or Sue for depth ?
We could have up to 9 positions available for next year if we only re-sign those in the top list
Out of all the current 2018 off contract players from other club's I would go hard for a couple of these guys
Corey Oats wing second row
Josh Mansour wing centre
Tevita Pangai Junior bench forward
Iosia Soliola second row
Ricky Luetele centre
Still leaves 2-1st grade spots and two development players If we don't re sign
Obviously $ is going to come into it but believe we currently have over $1 million dollars to spend plus Taanes money's plus other released players money
Must be close to $2 million ???
Do we still search for a goal kicker or are we happy with Lolohea

Papalii would be a great impact player, sub him on around the 30 minute mark and the 60 minute mark.

Well The POM who has good mail stated Barba has never been on the radar which was backed up by another poster who got it direct from Pascoe..

Just read that Jack Bird isn unsettled at Brisbane along with Oats….

We want a good defensive centre with a bit of strike power in attack, Jack bird is as good as they come.

Oats and Masters on one side scares me in terms of how much impact and power they could bring.

I’d look at both of them
