I challenge the idea that we have greater than $2 million in Doueihi, Brooks and Hastings combined.

That's a good point. If you take the absolute highest value of contracts cited in the media, that are almost certainly wrong, Brooks and Doueihi are on a combined $1.5m. There's no way Hastings is on $500k. If I had to guess I'd suggest the three of them combined are on something like $1.6m.

None of us know what theyre actually being paid,but I can tell you that Hastings..Man of Steel..aint getting paid $100k!!!

No it doesn't. I think you can take it that he does not think that Brooks and Doueihi are on the highest figures claimed anywhere in the media (~$1.5 million combined), but are on more like $1.25-$1.3 million combined, with Hasting on $300-$350K.

Think the figures reported for Hastings at the time of signing were between 300-400k

It's pretty well documented that Brooks is on 850k and Doueihi is in roughly on 550k. It may be 30k give or take.

Hastings on say 350k. And that's all roughly market rates, but that doesn't mean they're performing to their value

Everything you've mentioned he does is the traditional play of the skilled lock forward who at a pinch can fill in at 6. The demise of this type of creative forward is due to the bash and barge merchant coaches sticking a prop at lock. Many would not remember Rocky Laurie, Malcolm Reilly or this guy below. Warning this may bring a tear to the eye of the Maggies' fans. Langmack was a very smart lock forward. I wish his style of lock was playing today.

I think centre or ball playing lock type role for AD in our team 2023

Personally I’d have AD as a Centre, Goal Kicker & Captain. Also as cover for the halves. In the pre season he wasn’t wearing a knee brace and there was a picture of him kicking. I think the club is being carefully with his recovery because they see his long term value.

Well unless he actually gets the ball then we will never know.

Hastings gave him early ball a few times in the trial and he looked sharp, effective, speed & strength was positive. Up against the starting center/wing/5/8th combo for the Roosters.

Let's hope he gets early ball 1st few games and we see what he is made of.
