He had already signed a 2 year deal with us. Whatever he signed recently must be an upgrade. Possibly into a dev contract for next season and the one after that too? Who knows. Club doesn't publicise these things. Was already in our SG ball squad?? From tigers page:
“A number of key members of the 2021 Laurie Daley Cup squad will transition to the 2022 SG Ball squad this year with Queensland signings Keenen Tempest, Herman Tofaeono and Junior Taungatua boosting the team for the new campaign.”
One of the best young props in the country. Standout for Keebra last year.is he any good ?
I read this morning he was in a QLD Schoolboy team with Dudley Dotoi. It's good to know our scouts are out and about. One of the best young props in the country. Standout for Keebra last year.
Got some growing to do, and prove he can do it against the big boys but he's an extremely powerful player. Junior Paulo/ Fui Fui Moi Moi style.
All we can do is encourage him and provide him with an environment to help bring out the best in him. The hard work is then up for him to do...
I'm probably
Everything you've mentioned he does is the traditional play of the skilled lock forward who at a pinch can fill in at 6. The demise of this type of creative forward is due to the bash and barge merchant coaches sticking a prop at lock. Many would not remember Rocky Laurie, Malcolm Reilly or this guy below. Warning this may bring a tear to the eye of the Maggies' fans. Langmack was a very smart lock forward. I wish his style of lock was playing today.

🤷🏼♂️$900k ...I actually dont believe WTS are that silly...surely?
Another one of the Scarcrow's stuff ups.Remember Brad Takairangi telling everyone he was a Tigers player as well.
How we could have used him at the time but it was not to be.
I think centre or ball playing lock type role for AD in our team 2023I still believe he is our long term 6. people forget he's only played 70 NRL games. very good attacking kicking game, throws a great long ball and very dangerous when he takes the line on. the question is who we stick next to him at 7, not whether he should be moved.
Not critical of your post at all, but I wish the club would sign a centre who can cover centre😛Briton Nikora is the backrower that can cover centre that Sheens has wanted. Hope he gets it done.
I herd it on the bloke in a bar podcast last yearHe actually was signed Taylor didn’t want him so we paid a chuck of change for to play for Parra.
its a better position to be in than which rookee we can try out because we got no oneI've watched Brooks for years and I think he cops it unfairly. At the same time Brooks is under pressure. He is on good coin and we have Hastings, Doueihi and Madden who could all replace him in the halves.
Brooks should be picked when he is the best option which to me he is right now. I can see that changing over the course of the season. I think Roberts is in a similar position. To'a looks like likely and Talau, Kepaoa and Doueihi are all due back from injury.
We have to wait and see what happens this season.
I think the big point is we are looking like a much more professionally run club when it comes to recruitment and retention and the club will have to make some tough roster decisions.

HahahaI don't Nathan Hindmarsh was ever that lucky on the bandits.
That's a good point. If you take the absolute highest value of contracts cited in the media, that are almost certainly wrong, Brooks and Doueihi are on a combined $1.5m. There's no way Hastings is on $500k. If I had to guess I'd suggest the three of them combined are on something like $1.6m.I challenge the idea that we have greater than $2 million in Doueihi, Brooks and Hastings combined.
