Mbye would be good at the right price, no way I'd pay $900k for him. If bulldogs could pay maybe $250k so we could pay $650k I think that would be great. Granville would also be great for the right price, I'd pay $600k.

Mbye no more than 400k Granville 500k for 2 years. You can’t make any of these players our top salaries Reynolds who we paid a lot for is 650k per season but it has to be done at the time as there was a mass evacuation of the joint.

I highly doubt we will get Mbye and Granville for that much, I would love it but unfortunately other clubs will be willing to pay a lot more.

No chance we get them that cheap unless they are not wanted by anyone.

If we're looking at Hookers apart from Jake Granville, here are a few off contract options. James Segeyaro, great player and brings a lot of energy. Also represented Papua New Guinea in the 2017 RLWC. Siliva Havili, still fairly young at 25 years of age, can play 80 minutes. Also represented Tonga in the 2017 RLWC.

Mbye has played 10 games at fullback, failed in the halves and is a very average goal kicker. Dogs are in a cap mess. Very few clubs will need a fullback and I am assuming Barba returns to the Sharks and Holmes goes to the Cowboys. Only other club that would be interested would be the Titans who just spent most of their cap on forwards.

I think they have a Farah situation in their hands personally unless they move Jackson and Klemmer.

Smart Cleary just waiting
Cowboys looking to ofload coote and Grandville to free up money for Holmes at Fullback
Barba linked to Sharks and Tigers for fullback
Doggies need to offload players soon and options are running out
Cant see Mybe to sharks or cows so could well be the Tigers if he leaves
Or they loose Klemer which will P off Woods no doubt
Cant see Josh Jackson leaving
I would love Cleary to go for Mariner and Mybe as a package
They can have Sue for Mariner
And Lolohea for Mybe

Why do people assume the cowboys are in a better position to lure players than we are?

They are playing terribly..Id say worse than us.
They are probably losing JT and Coote (so basically the whole team in recent years)
And its townsville…..its not exactly the best destination.

I hope we get Granville and Barba 😂😂
Dreams are free

Brian Kelly has a bit of class about him..

I think he would be better value than mbye

Kelly did not show much tonight another young guy with that word us supporters know to well PROMISE…Mbye is proven ,the club is at a stage that seasoned players need to be added to the roster ....the club has to bring in experienced and seasoned players or the rebuilding will last for another decade!

For an experienced fullback point taken. Kelly to centre imo. Believe you need a mix of experience and youth. I think Coote at the right price would be better than mbye 2 yrs only

I don't understand why people don't want Granville.

Liddle is good, but not physically ready for 80 minutes. It's pretty clear we're struggling at dummy half.

I like the idea of Mbye. He has all the attributes of a terrific fullback, just needs to fine tune a few things. Cleary would be great for him. He also has a great head on his shoulders, love how he handles himself, and appears to be a class person. I think he is a future captain at whatever club he plays. Goal kicking is better the we thought too, so thats another bonus. Only 24 years old. All sounds good to me.

Brian Kelly is ok. However, I would prefer a bigger centre. I'm sick of having short outside backs.

Liddle has already been chased by Melbourne, will he hang around behind Granville.

I'm guessing we've lost patience waiting for Liddle to become a regular first grader. How many years has it been now? And people are still saying he's too fragile and not up to playing a full game! The kid has talent, no doubt, but we can't wait forever. Go for Granville I say, we need class now.

The guy is only 21 and just come of a double shoulder surgery with no pre-season. This year was always going to be a building year. We buy Granville now, and then next year when Liddle has had a fullish season and a full pre season and is just coming good, we send Granville to ISP. Why would we do that?

Just on the sternum injury….I cracked my sternum playing many years ago against Cootamundra in group nine...it happened during round 4 that year and I couldnt play for 8 weeks and it took nearly 12 months to completely heal...they have better medical rehabs these days, but an injury like that takes time to heal naturally...

Barba, Taupau, Cleary and Rona please Ivan

These players are so important to our re-building and the club has the money.

What. Ok Cleary, yes/kinda. He would be a stable halves partner with Brooks moving to 5/8 (I think this will suit him more, but I take the point of others that he should practice this position in reserves). Cleary would be great, but we don't need him.

Likewise Taupau I think would take our forwards to another level. We want a solid impact forward. However we don't need him but he is welcome to jump on board.

Barba, Meh. Barba is the superstar premadonna we don't need. Look he is a gun kind of player. But your season then runs on his back. That's exactly what we don't need. We need to build that TEAM, i.e. Penrith when Moylan pulls out and still goes to the quarter finals. Stop hoping for some super duper miracle player. We need the big 17, were getting there and have a decent 17.

Rona, who cares. Rugby are treating ex Force players as cap free. I honestly feel like everyone is trolling us by starting Rona roumers.
