Has been bog average this year. Why do we sign players that are past their peak & not wanted by his current club.

Correct he has gone off the boil big time this year, now starting from the bench.
Whether he has the sookie la la’s because Hess is getting a start in front of him, but he is nowhere the player he was last year.

Cut him some slack , he has had either 2-3 HIA's this season from memory

How many more before he is finished? That many injuries in 10 games suggests he has a health or technique problem

Should of never gotten a hair cut

From memory , one was in a trial …...didn't think it was us ,,could be wrong

Except for Sua and pangai junior from the broncos there's not much by the way of front rowers/ edge rowers on the market. Utility I'd try to get from within. A 100-200k utility would be beneficial for the cap.

Mbaye would be very good signing, fast with great footwork, he is also very good goal kicker.
However, he would not be my first priority, we are still too weak and easily dominated in the ruck, we need a few powerfull running forwards, 1 prop and 2 nd rowers, ideally: A Paasi, Taumalolo and Taukeiaho 😛ray:

I think we’re past the point of arguing whether he should be a priority. It looks like s done deal.

Meeting some friends and Picking up a car here then a 4 week meandering road trip through Slovenia and Croatia. Hope we pick up some more wins before I get back.
Back on the subject of signings ….. I think we already picked up a prop signing from the Panthers lower grades. Just has not been announced yet. Not a high profile signing but solid potential with good pedigree.

Yeh a good up and comer prop is what we need judging on what's available. Our 2nd row of Lawrence and MCK is not good enough. Lawrence is playing great. I like Ailoia but he's struggling for consistency. Impact 2nd rower is what we need now.
