Hastings not there as think his rehab will run past season opening but of course he would be there if fit . Talau fitness also an unknown

Assumption 1 is that Offa activates MO, so that is 28 players officially under contract with 2 spots remaining for any of 8 players already within the Club off contract or on T&T - Tamou/Talau/Madden/O'Kane/Nu Brown/Tumeth/Freebairn/Dias.

Assumption 2 is we'll re-sign at least 2 of these (if not 3-4) in the top 30.

Assumption 3 is that we need other Clubs to officially take at least 3 of Peachey, Liddle, Gildart , Simpkins, Noffa, Brooks, Simpkin before we even contemplate signing anyone from another Club.

Joe O should be a priority IMO.
He needs to be extended and even an upgrade if that's needed.

I always loved big, bad, hards as bricks TFrizell - I don't watch any Knights - isn't he past his best?..... would have loved him before he went to the Knights.

Exactly! We were after Nikora & Crichton a couple of months ago so I think Sheens acknowledges we need another edge backrower & experienced forward.

Frizell would be huge if true because he is at that age where he wouldn't halt the progress of Tumeth, O'Kane, Kautoga who are at least 2 seasons away anyway. Plus the talk around Blore moving to the middle & Talau being developed as an edge backrower would complement this type of signing.

He'd be a perfect signing for us. Our biggest issue is our edge forwards. IP and Frizzel would fix that problem.

I'd be happy with the pack if that occurs. If not we need to get another second rower but I doubt we get better than Frizzel.

As you state we should only give him 2 years and hopefully reasonable dollars. He isn't a marquee signing.

It'd be awesome to get him.

I heard Brent Read talking about it. He just said he thinks it would be a good swap. I thinks it is just media talk.

It makes more sense that it's just a media beat up. It'd be awesome though. We need another quality edge backrower to go along with IP.
