He was a kid when he was here, that was playing with other kids.
There was zero leadership on field at that time, and zero accountability.
He’s now a club and state captain - probably captain of the country,…

Liddle for Lawrie and Staines for Peachey. Both upgrades...but on short term contracts only.

I would take that in a heartbeat he plays with alot of passion

A good solid prop only 25 ex Dapto Canaries and Wests Wollongong.. Lawrie offers more imo at a much more reasonable price than Klemmer. He would be a smart acquisition.

Liddle and Peachey are both surplus to requirements...their proposed replacements are in more useful positions,but barely 1st graders either
Still,Id take this opportuniistic trade but continue to aim much MUCH higher if we wish to progress

The end of the day these players (Staines lawrie) if they were to go to teams like Melbourne or roosters and get quality game time they would be great!! Us tigers cannot bring players in and turn them to superstars we can bring good players in and make them average!! Staines in a Melbourne team would look sensational just like nofo atm and many others. We see teams like panthers roosters Melbourne they have such good depth but take them out of that system and they become average when they go to a less then great team! Until we can produce that sort of player management we will always be complaining about our depth

He could jag a wing spot in the NRL side...from memory he is tall, strong and fast.

He’ll give it a fair crack.
With Jordan Hill coming back there’s some speed, height and power coming into wing spots

I’d take Laurie over Klemmer any day.

Teddy has lost the ability to pass since he left us. He would be a terrible 5/8.

Nothing pisses me off more than hearing Cooper Cronk bang on how Teddy's game went to another level because of the Roosters, it's a myth. Teddy is now a great leader with a great workrate, but his touches of class have gone backwards. When was the last time you saw him chime into the back line and throw a beautiful ball for his centre or winger to score? He did this non stop for us. He can't create for his outside men anymore, certainly not like Mitchell, Ponga or Tommy. Teddy is now I better version of Dylan Edwards....very good, but lacks ballplaying ability.
