When you compare his articles to the quality of Roy Masters, retirement is a good option for him.

I am happy to defer to Sheens' knowledge on rugby league and in this case Maguire. It's first hand and learning why certain decisions were taken is just as important as the decisions themselves.Oh look - another link that loosely dances around what you’re quoting…
at the ready - shock horror!!
Do you actually what is play - or just read the papers and form an opinion from that?
Go back and watch a game from 2015-2018…
watch the cows game mid year in 2015, (it’s that bad it’s online) Watch it, and tell us all how it’s Madge’s fault we played with 4-5 hit ups and a bomb…
That rot was in the club well before Madge.
That's why I posted last week tiger's not to sign nathan brown, if I were a junior and your opportunity was blocked by new 30 year old signings for another few years I would sign straight away with another clubJust went through all off contract players by end of next year. I noticed the Roosters have 9playersoff contract plus two who have player options off contract. Some big names too. Some will resign but I reckon other teams should lock up the players they want because the chooks be coming to sniff out juniors.
You may be right - it might not work. But to compare Arthurs record over Sheens is just a total nonsense. And if you just want to cherry pick Arthurs best years rather than his whole career i'll do the same and up your Brad Arthurs over the last 6 years with Tim Sheens 9 years from 1988 to 1996. Its totally meaningless.Seems to easy (with the unexpected 05 success) to overlook that he made the finals like 3-4 times between 1994 and 2012.
From my loose observations, he didn’t go real well in the (inferior) UK comp either…
Has nothing to do with his age at all…
Brad Arthur’s record over the last 6 years likely eclipses Sheens record over the last 30 - and he’s hardly considered a master coach.
I’m on the fence with it, it may work - it may not… one thing I can give Sheens credit for was that he could steer this club (politically) and he could bring the kids through….
The rest is clearly in his numbers.
Your statement has no relevance if you are just going to cherry pick - in his time at Parra Arthurs has overseen 3 wooden spoons, a salary cap penalty for rorting and until this year only won 2 of their 8 semi final appearances. Overall i would say he has been a good coach when he had a good team but has never had the coaching ability to get a team up for big games. My point is you cant compare coaches - there are too many variables. Sheens was a legend with a Canberra side packed with superstars but an absolute dud at NQ with an ordinary roster. Bellamy is one of the few coaches who seems to be able to overcome most of the variables and stay on top over time and he needed a good dose of cheating to achieve that.I was replying to a comment of Sheens being a washed up coach who hasn’t done anything in years - and even when he did, it was a long time in between drinks….
If Brad Arthur gets a free run for the next 30 years, your statement may have some relevance.
I think the deal will be two years max. Maybe one year. One year would be ok.That's why I posted last week tiger's not to sign nathan brown, if I were a junior and your opportunity was blocked by new 30 year old signings for another few years I would sign straight away with another club
We've had 11 seasons to change it ...we finally hit rock bottom (hopefully ) in 2022Madge had a chance to change it but didn't.
I must have missed that ....Geebus that looks bad now .......The link is the interview between Sheens and Kent.
Compare your comments with those of Sheens. I know who I believe.

SHOOSH
● The relationship between one NRL chairman and his chief executive is at breaking point. Only one will survive the season.
● Huge pressure on the once invincible 2GB Continuous Call team in the ratings, with the ABC closing in on Saturdays and Triple M on Sundays. Trying to be funny doesn’t always work. Sometimes it can get stale. Listeners these days want to be informed. They want strong opinions and analysis.
● Drama at the Wests Tigers between Tim Sheens, Benji and Robbie.
● Everyone is talking about Anthony Griffin, Adam O’Brien and Justin Holbrook being under the pump. You can throw Kevvie Walters into that group as well. He needs to make the finals.
● Which huuuge-name NRL player will be offered an early release from his contract?
from the NRL media team that has elevated imbecility to an art formGee they are starting the Wests Tigers bashing nice & early. 😐
It wouldn’t be a “happy new year” for them otherwise. I expect Kenty to crank it up a notch this year.Gee they are starting the Wests Tigers bashing nice & early. 😐
He's about 100kgs, not tiny. But not tall. It's his aggression that allows him to punch above his weightI've heard so much about Tumeth
Is he going to be that good ...isn't size going to be an issue ??
We didn't have the wrestle in 05....we did get quick ptb's however because of that... Which is what 05s style of footy needsSheens is a student of the game and an innovator. His 2005 style of footy imo is readily adaptable to the game today. In addition, with Marshall, Farah and Funer he has three capable Lieutenants to implement the style of footy he wants to play. What I am pretty sure of is we won't see five hit-ups and the bomb which is Maguire's legacy.
Truth.. why dress it up?Intelligent reply ....
You didn't say anything ....what truth .....lolTruth.. why dress it up?
Croker playing 300 ...that will be a massive call if right ...worth dropping some hard earned onNot all doom and gloom in the media

I watched him in the SOO match , he daisy didn’t impress me , he looked like a very light weight forward for me . Be things can change in a yearHe's about 100kgs, not tiny. But not tall. It's his aggression that allows him to punch above his weight
Ur kidding for the last ten years what have we produced in the way of class forwards , NOTHING, because we have had shit forwards , NOW we have some class pigs who the kids can learn off and ur crying , they will leave , there bloody 18, 19 , and 20 year old kids , there not going to walk into any other team . I guess u would be happy if we kept all the forwards we let go , so the kids could be slotted in and get bashed . For years we have had bugger all up front and now we have a pack that won’t get pushed around and ur WHINING 🥴That's why I posted last week tiger's not to sign nathan brown, if I were a junior and your opportunity was blocked by new 30 year old signings for another few years I would sign straight away with another club
