You failed to answer my question ..what club won a premiership and then missed the semis the 5 years followingCome on mate. This is ridiculous. We won in 2005. We won the whole thing.
You failed to answer my question ..what club won a premiership and then missed the semis the 5 years following
Remember " white men can't jump" sometimes when you win ...you lose ...sometimes when you lose you actually win ....sometimes you can win and neither win or lose ....one of life's hard truthsThe 2023 premiership winners.
Parra after 86.You failed to answer my question ..what club won a premiership and then missed the semis the 5 years following
Dogs and Redcliffe have pulled out of the Moses race its just us and parra now
You changed the measuring stickParra after 86.
Ah right. Didn't read the fine print. Its the type of thread you skip through. You changed the measuring stick
8 team semi finals system ...not 5
Based on a Top 8 ...7th in 87 ....8th in 89 .....8th in 90Parra after 86.
Which means the dogs have probably got him.Dogs and Redcliffe have pulled out of the Moses race its just us and parra now
We won but we failed to set ourselves up for long term success
That's hard to judge, but it looks very good to me. I can't see a weakness. Still the halves and the backs, especially a couple of game changers like Munster, Lui, Manu etc needed, to complete the package. We are about 80% up the mountain, another year to the top, but i'm an optimist !I hope that our forward pack can in fact "compete with the best of them" because i think whilst it is brilliant compared to last year's pack it's still a long way off being a top tier NRL pack.
Also find it laughable people think Sheens is the messiah before we've even played one game.I think it’s sweet how some are still sticking up for Maguire.
Brooks again,,! can't leave him alone? O C D.Also find it laughable people think Sheens is the messiah before we've even played one game.
Oh, and Brooks will suddenly become a halfback.
It was a committee of people doing the recruiting. Pascoe, Lee, Madge and Hartigan. Madge couldn't recruit who he wanted without running it last the committeeWell documented that Adam Hartigan was largely involved in recruitment.
Most of these hacks seem to work for one particular newspaper. They've currently got their team of talentless dopes working through each team's 2023 prospects and you can bet ours, when it appears, will be chock full of their usual negative garbageGents if you haven't noticed the gutter journalist are already death riding us and promoting their usual. Unfortunately this is where most of Australia go to get their information. We don't need the in house flighting the media already keen to rip us apart.
Might not be the messiah, time will tell. He is genuinely making positive inroads into this side which really weren't there before. He is trying to fast-track success and been bold in the process. Wants to set success up for Benj who in his own right will have better player pulling power than any coach before him. We do need to see results on the field though which I think will come in 2023 and more so in '24.Also find it laughable people think Sheens is the messiah before we've even played one game.

This is about Seyfarth...Yeh I'm sure he'll do what's best 4 him but you really see better opportunities outside WT for him?
