Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Would much rather Dylan Edwards over Holland. Edwards can kick goals too. Was a pretty good goal kicker for the Penrith u20s. Wouldn't mind Hopoate, but only as a centre.

SG, I reckon Newcastle would be willing to throw $700k Kasiano's way to lure him. IMO Newcastle will end up with both Graham and Kasiano for 2018.

The Bulldogs are actually a +5.33 point team per 80 mins Sam kasiano plays so those who think he's a bad signing. The proof is there for you that he's not. He's actually one of the best +/- forwards per 80 mins played in the NRL. Awesome value bench forward

SG where do you get this data I'm impressed.
Who are the best that are off contract in the +/- that are realistic signings.

Pulu, lillyman, obrien,ofahengaue,cheerington.

How do I get the Data? It's my job.

Assuming data works like +/- in NBA?
Pulu would be great

I don't want Holland at all, I hope we explore other options for the back line and goal kicking duties. Dylan Edwards I think we should chase even if it means waiting until 2019 to land him.

Holland looks kinda unco, and he's not particularly quick or powerful for a winger. Can't see him finishing off too many backline movements. At least with Nofo 1 on 1 he's more likely to bash his way past his opponent, not so Holland.

Would take Goodwin from Souths over Holland.

I'll play devils advocate here - now that three (and possibly up to five depending on other news sites) clubs are after him someone else is guaranteed to pay overs for him…. Probably means a less likely prospect to come to us...

Also depends on what position he prefers to play as the Tigers can offer him fullback whereas the Sharks are interested as well so they are probably looking at centre for him. Hopefully, he wants to play fullback.

He only wants fullback or 5/8\. Sharks have those positions covered between Holmes, Townsend and Maloney. Raiders and Cowboys were interested in him as a wing/centre i believe. Broncos maybe to go in the halves but he wouldn't work well with Milford - too similar. Dragons/Dogs may want him for a fullback spot depending on how other signings go.

We have the ability to play him at the back and can even bring him onboard straight away and have more cap space than any other club. How much does he want is the question.

For the life of me I can't understand why nobody has mentioned Sitaleki Akauola. I realise he is managed by Sam Ayoub, but we have to get over that problem one day. Akauola has turned into a real hard boy, just the sort of player we need a few of to came off the bench. To my recollection his problem was with JT and Mayer, certainly not with Ivan or Pascoe.
Also what's up with Tagataese or even Luke Lewis. No time for Latimore useless.
Tagataese even at 30 has three times as much grunt and ability than Seumanufagai will achieve in a lifetime.

sotaleki would be good yes. For some reason panthers players havnt been mentioned for awhile.
Why is that? corey narawira is still unsigned as well sitaleki.
