If I was the Storm I would be sorting out the JAC before final series as they need him 100% happy and firing. Talou would benefit under Bellamy

I know we only recently signed him but how about we swap JAC for Kepaoa, he is tall, fast and he would benefit being in a system like storms

He is like for like ?
Maybe a younger less experienced JAC, you could say

He has speed approaching JAC but hands like feet. If wing is his position he's going to need to shape up pretty quickly as a finisher.

Talau is competing with AJ for left wing in NSW Cup next year in most peoples teams and yet we wont swap him for the test winger ????

Teaching someone to catch is straightforward. He is young and is a quick learner.

Genuine pace, size and finishing cannot be coached.

IMO he’s a fair bit slower than JAC. His hands are just not good enough for first grade level, and I don’t see why that would improve with experience unless it’s all nerves. His passing looks awkward too, the only asset I see is some level of speed and strength.

Prefer Talau on the wingeven though he’s slower.

Those were bombs and that was obviously confidence because he was great prior to last year.

Could be confidence for asu too he’s barely played first grade. Despite it being a basic skill it can still be trained and worked on and fixed.

He's quick as you can tell from the two tries he really had to motor to score.

I remember a famous Roosters' fullback named Minichello who had poor hands but became a really good player.

Agree.. You don't sign a guy for 3.5 years if you don't have faith in him.. Clearly has some wraps on him from scouts

That first try he scored the ball he had to catch above his head was not easy. I believe it is nerves. He is raw but exciting with his potential.

If it was so straight forward, why hasn’t he learned it yet?

Vunivalu also scorched AJ.

Given both AJ and Talau are at similar levels of development and not really ready for first grade, I don’t now how we can run with both next year.

If we could loan one of them to Storm for a year and get JAC it’s a big win IMO.

That first try he scored the ball he had to catch above his head was not easy. I believe it is nerves. He is raw but exciting with his potential.

Think it’s just positional play for him which obviously u need to already have playing nrl.


His first try made it difficult where he was standing, the missed grant try just needed to be aware he had all the time in the world to put that down and need to position himself better.


Position him self better for Lawrence.


I loved the flick of ears for his second try.
