Isn't the head burgi wanting to come back or was that for an English club?
Not sure if you have been hiding but South and Roosters don't have the standard Salary Caps.. They have a special one where they adjust as needed.. :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:
They aren’t successful clubs because they rort the cap. They’re successful because they’re well run, smart and professional. We are none of those things.
It's hard to differentiate with those two clubs. Yes they are professionally run. And yes they appear to rort the cap. I don't think we've seen them being run professionally when they weren't cheating the cap.
There is no proof of that.
That's why I said they appear and I don't think.
I don't like to accuse people of cheating without proof, especially when we have been done for it.
If paying someone $600'000 to $700'000 to play for another club is cheating then we were dudded
We did not replace this player with a better player therefore we did not gain any advantage
This move was more based on team cohesion then any other matter
It was a clash of coach and player and it caused disharmony within the group
Unlike peptides (performance enhancing) or free boats to sign and keep the very best players, our offer to Robbie was more of a gesture in good faith, not to gain a competitive advantage
Unfortunately the league saw it differently
I would not call that cheating
It's not a good look when he returns less than 2 years later on a much reduced contract.
