Why don't we find out who the storm are chasing from our juniors and sign them up long term even if the tigers recruitment team think they're rubbish, too small, won't make it, etc, etc. They seem to have more of an idea of our juniors than we do !

Probably at that time the Storm may have been operating with an advantage. Remember they signed Ryan Hoffman after WTs apparently made him a very good offer for a player whom hadn't played first grade.

Was that a photo-shot job (Benji in the Cowboys kit)? As kiwitiger said, where's the tats, and that body looks too skinny for Benji (not muscly enough).

Good luck to him if he does end up there. I would think it shuts the door to any post-football job at the WT though, but I think Benji will be right, the media has always loved him and he can get a permanent job there if he wanted.

Well also on that one, Ryan's Dad Jay Hoffman was an old team mate of Bellyache's, so he had an inside run.

From what I’ve seen of Liddle he looks like a quality player but his style (crisp early service to the halves and speed to run if there is an opportunity around the ruck) means that he is not going to manage the play like Grant or Smith. He can definitely be out long term 9 in my view it just changes the types of players you need to have at 6,7 and perhaps 13 if you have a ball playing lock to complement him. I don’t watch a lot of storm games but I was pretty blown away in the GF by Smiths game management and quarterbacking of the team Around the park. Liddle is not that type of player but can I see him in the squad when we win a premiership, I think so.

Pretty much exactly what I said when discussing why I would prefer Grant, I doubt we will get him but I am quite happy with Liddle has he is very good aswell
