De belin court case does not sound good

Sounds terrible if what the girl is saying is true. Really disgusting stuff

If this is all true he will be playing for the Long Bay Jailbirds.

Serious stuff could be in there for a while if found guilty

Day 3… Still silence from our Club about signings or re-signings…
Here hoping they are getting all them together for a massive announcement at a media conference 🤔.....

doubt there'll be a media conference, but give it time. the news didn't break on Stefano until November 22 last year, and we were on his case well before that. it will come.

I am starting to like the AFL trade period week and that it just happens and everyone can move on and prepare for the next season..

think you'd assume both of their re-signings will be confirmed before November 16.

make sure I have this clear

GYGT If you know anything about Balmain ever since My Name's McGooley, What's Yours? finished and The Wharfies moved to Queensland or Kincumber, Balmain became home to the Gentry - a bunch of uber self-indulgent inheritors of wealth thanks to increased property values and spakfilla. From those halcyon Gough Whitlam days in the 70's (Time for freedom time for bong water) they were less working-class than the tru believers of Balmain. They were the ones who sent their Little Oscars and Lucas's to Soccer cos the rough tough game of Rugby League was too risky for the nouveaus. Basketweaving became the sport of choice and The Greens Party was born.

That was poetic, the stream of words. I have never lived in that place (and I suspect in that time) so I didn't understand the words, but their rhythm was beautiful.

the first NRL club to partner with Steeden,

I can see the plan now. We own The Steedens, so when we turn up, if we don't like the ref or the weather we take our ball and go home.

Ahhhhh ..thats explains the Reynolds /Packer situation ...that was a practice run .....

It’s 7s rugby - defence from 7s players is almost always non-existent. Give him a trial or a game in Ron Massey first and see how he goes.

Post of the year!

PMSL

Ask them to swap players before the game to even it out or we take our ball and go home

he's got the weirdest quads to calf ratio

difference between 7s and League is that it's never 1 on 1. He can beat them 1 on 1 but with how upright he runs he'll get dominated. But definitely he's a great find and under the right guidance/training, he could be anything

I’ll send it to Hartigan on Twitter. Deadly highlights!

seriously Bennet is some type of a whisperer. Roberts and GI willing to say bye to thousands of dollars and Latrell going there for "way less" money.

Not sure where to post link, as idk if the Latrell thread still exists, but find his comments in article could be useful or constructive for club recruitment and management.

*The 23-year-old, who is aiming to extend his deal at Redfern, spoke in detail for the first time about his meeting with the Cowboys - something that was arranged as he was en route to Cairns for a holiday - and his Taree coffee date with Tigers coach Michael Maguire.*

*While he was tempted by the country lifestyle the Cowboys offered, Mitchell said the Tigers tabled a deal worth north of $1m a season.*

*"It was big money - we're talking big money - but I said to myself, 'If I go there, will I be happy and the player I want to be?','' Mitchell said.*

*"People will see I'm on over $1m ... I didn't need that pressure yet, with the money side [of things]. I thought, 'Souths are keen, I'll take a pay cut and go and play with them, challenge myself and play with some elite players'.*

*"The Tigers had Benji [Marshall] and good players. But they didn't have the foundation. They played good this year and it was grouse to see.*

*But they didn't have your Cody Walkers and Adam Reynolds, boys who have played together for years - the three players in the spine (along with Damien Cook) have played for four or five years already.*

*"Benji was in and out [of the halves], Luke Brooks was in and out, they [the Tigers] just couldn't find that balance. I was like, 'I can't go there yet'. If there was an opportunity later on, maybe.*

I think that's pretty fair. Latrell gets battered from pillar to post in the media for no apparent reason and if players don't justify their price tag they get lambasted, only have to look in our own backyard to see that.

I’ve heard similar about other players we wanted to sign. Instead of selling the club we just throw big money at them and expect people to just sign because of that. I know for a fact we missed Sean Keppie because of it.

Latrells right we need the foundations there a solid spine at least hopefully we can have some stability there next season

Why would we throw big money at Sean Keppie?
