Don't we have enough centres? We have a roster full of centres and halves. Need second rowers, wingers, and a fullback.

I think I'd rather Mansour than Roberts. (Don't want Mansour either)

I’d rather sign no one than Roberts and Mansour ? use the money to sign more rookies or upgrade the guys who did well for us last season

Second row and fullback is priority. Even on the wing we’re okay for now

If Mansour comes, Maguire has a lot of explaining to do following the debacle of the Leilua signing.

I don’t think Mansour will be good for us but I won’t judge it until he’s actually played. He would be cheap and most likely a short deal, worst part of it is that he would block the development of Kepaoa

I don’t see the problem in signing mansour for a couple of years he just played a full season made the grand final he is the ultimate professional you know he’s going to try as hard as he can every game in saying that I wouldn’t pay him any more than 400k a season

Not only Kepaoa but Kei and others. It is a disgrace if Mansour comes as WTs officially becomes the dumping ground of slow wingers who cannot defend. At least they'll be a matching pair.

Just don’t see the point of buying this youth and then wanting to sign Mansour and Roberts to play in front of them when they most likely will struggle

Again I won’t judge the signing until he plays. The hope would be he plays 1 season of first grade and then the young guys play in 2022, but I’d rather the young guys just play now.

Reimis Smith confirmed time he going to Melbourne.

He will end up doing really well there. He’s tall and fast, if he can learn the Melbourne system he’ll score a good 10+ tries a season on the wing there.

If that happens I wonder if we’ll read stories and hear endless comments about how bad a decision it was for the Bulldogs to let him go? I’m guessing not.

He's a gun when he's 'on'.. unfortunately that's not often but at melb it likely will be often

We're supposed to be a development club! The club has given Maguire time to build a young side with his new contract. It is time for Maguire to back his recruitment team and youth not bring in has beens to block their path. If this is true, it is a disgraceful and retrograde step.

Mansour is the exact opposite of what we need

It seems like no matter what coach and recruiting team we have the same thing happens

We try to sign good players, we miss out, panic and sign duds.

Just keep investing in the youth! I would rather win the spoon with guys who have potential playing than come 10th with Mansour and Roberts who will be gone in two seasons

I’ve always thought he was an Aldi version of Nofo and I’ve never been a huge fan of Nofo.

Mansour i don't mind as long as it is cheap and not over 2 years.
Whilst with roberts if he is also cheap i'd be happy, yes he carries baggage but if Madge can get him firing again, there is our SPEED...

Personally don’t think we should sign him. We’ve got centres and he’s had a whole heap of issues the last two years. Reeks of a Ballin, Reynolds, Idris type signing, just pure hope he can find his old form again

Dunno. Roberts without his demons or at least under control OK, with the demons loose oh no.

Has pluses and minuses like every signing. He has size, speed and ability to crack the line unlike most of our backs, if we do sign him we would need some tight performance - on and off field- clauses. Not totally against it at the right price.

Nice to see us helping out Penrith and Rabbits with their discards, but as a plus some experience to back the mostly youth policy is needed.

why does it sound like every time we're after an experienced player ala Mansour, Leilua, Roberts etc that Pascoe is the one that's close to the deal and not Madge or Hartigan? get him out of negotiations before he kills our cap for another 4 years.

Roberts.....for dirt cheap and with a STACK of contract clauses. I would actually hope that he can turn things around.
