Albert Kelly the next player to be moving over to Brisbane. I know that both he and Mead won't be earning massive amounts but if they're already in a mess with the salary cap but continue to add to the squad then you would think that something will have to give soon enough.

Again I could just be putting 2 + 2 together and getting 9 but it makes me think even more that Joe O may be close.

Albert Kelly hasn’t played FG since 2014. Absolutely shameful that a club like them with their resources could sink so low.

And their fans are excited about it.... broncos will get the spoon again. They haven’t improved their team at all and Kevie isn’t a great coach.

He's been in the Super League for a long time but Kelly was a good player. I don't think he's a bad signing at all.

Don’t see him making a mark on NRL first grade though

Maybe, I think he's a pretty decent player though. Creative.

Maybe I misunderstood. Does FG stand for First Grade? Because I believe he's playing First Grade now over in England? Is the Hull team he's playing for not in the top grade?

Well Kelly was in good company at Hull nonetheless, playing beside Mahe Fonua and Gareth Ellis at least.

Surely you wouldn’t say no to Mal Riley type player now days.
Ball playing forwards are discouraged nowadays because coaches are terrified of error counts.
Stats collection and analysis are killing our game.

That’s what the top 4 teams have. Nathan Brown is essentially an impact prop, same for NAS and Isaac Liu. Isaah Yeo has more athleticism and fitness but he’s still a big body who makes big metres every game.

If you have gun forwards you can afford a more versatile lock but we struggle up the middle and can’t afford to NOT have a big body at lock.

If that were the case, you’d have more 5/8’s playing lock ala Fittler in the 90’s.

He has signed with Souths Logan & has a train & trial contract with the Broncos (if he does pick up anything it would be a low value secondary Agreement not in there top 30)

Would be pretty stoked if we got Joe O, thought him, Haas and Staggs were the only standouts in a pretty average broncos team.

???? He was/is terrible, the only thing worse than his form is his attitude. The Broncos are willing to let him go for a reason. He is not worth $200,000 let alone $600,000. The club is panicking & have learnt nothing over the years. I would rather see them go all in & extend Blore for 3 more years & wait til around June 30 as the chips start falling as there will be a number of players released due to what is going to be hitting the market next year & pick them up at a reduced rate.

Can’t agree, there was obviously some major underlying issues at Brisbane which was highlighted by the spoon...runs hard and can ball play. Obviously I don’t think he’s a world beater but he would be an improvement on what we’ve got for sure

Seibold and his non coaching ability was the problem at Brisbane, probably worth giving all the players a second chance for 2021

Think I read somewhere Madge wants him to play on the edge, Gould even said 2nd row is his best position aswell

Having a full preseason and a fully fit Shawn Blore in our squad, then throw in James Tamou who are both keen trainers .. you see players like Stefano Utoikamanu, Thomas Mikaele, Zane Musgrove and Alex Twal all stepping up .. then we'll have a pretty big and keen pack of pigs. I'm keen to see Kelma Tuiagi stepping up into the backrow for us ..I can see a good combination between him and Blore developing into a pretty mean pair .. !! Others will be Leilua, Garner , Packer, and Bradley.

They key to getting this pack moving forward, will be who plays and leads them successfully from dummy half .. either Jacob Little or Jake Simpkins.

Still think the Tigers should be thinking of buying a top line player with unsigned contact for2022.With Packer and Reynolds going we will have 1.5m freed up for these 2 alone,plus another5 who may be moved.Stagg or Crichton or someone of that quality should be approached before resigned.

Blores attitude in particular has impressed me, always has positive things to say about the club and looks keen to rip in. I think Mikaele is in for a big year aswell after a disappointing 2020
