Is there a Marquee signing anyone would be interested in? Or are we maybe just keen to see how things go for the time being

If a quality player comes on the market in the right position at the right dollars we should make an offer. I'd rather though take our time and not make any poor decisions than stuff our cap up.

I know changes have been made to the dates of certain squad requirements and that you can stay at 28 till at least June 30, possibly all season, @geo knows the answer to that as he has a better understanding of those dates than I do.

I thought I definitely recall Vlandy’s saying downsize wouldn’t happen!

On a side note, just had a sneaky visit to the kennel where some guy was listing every teams top 17, for some reason had momo as our starting fb ?‍♂️

The NRL has proposed to keep the top-30 roster system amid fears that up to 100 players could be lost to the game due to smaller squad sizes – although players will have to take a pay cut of around 10 per cent next year.
The NRL held a meeting with the 16 chief executives on Wednesday, reports the Sydney Morning Herald, to go through how players will be contracted for the 2021 season and the knock-on effects of COVID-19.

Fears that the current top-30 system for each team could be reduced by as many as five spots as a cost-cutting exercise to help balance out some of the money lost because of the shutdown and lack of fans.

Can stay at 28 till August 1 2021...

Development players 6 down to 4 but you can still have 6 in 2021..but bear in mind a development contract whether 1 or 2 years eventually turns into a Top 30 roster spot...

The Cap itself still hasn't been set as far as I know but Clubs are working at 9.4 million...it would be up to the Club how they work out any reductions...with Reynolds off the books in our case the Club will have a decent amount under that 9.4mill to spend..on remaining spots

Edene Gebbie is on a development contract with West Tigers. The PNG Hunters coach Matt Church confirmed that Gebbie is not among the Hunters contingent to relocate to Queensland to participate in the Intrust Super Cup competition.

Church confirmed he is in contact with West Tigers officials to see how can he assist in Gebbie's fitness during the transition.

This should be a welcoming news for Tigers fans who have been advocating for Gebbie's inclusion in our 2021 roster. He gives a lot of options in the backline (fullback, wing & center).
