What happened to the unspoken rule of not bagging your old club?

The one that employed you? paid you 100s of thousands of dollars a year to play footy? the ones that carried you despite being a no name?

Players set the standards. They were the ones that constantly lost year after year...cant stand it when they somehow deserve an ego and feel the need to throw dirt on their previous club.

The club that gave you an opportunity where no other club would .. the club that carried you as you plodded along barely breaking out in a sweat .. be grateful for the chances you had but you decided to waste them by not putting in .. someone should remind this nob-a-tron .. "that the only rewards you get in this game, are the ones you get from the efforts that you put in"

He was not offered a contract, and has found himself at last years grand finalists. What do you expect him to say?

He averaged 40 tackles a game and over 100 running metres. Not sure you can accuse him of barely breaking a sweat.

This is a good outcome for young Walters and some salary cap space for us to continue our recruitment in 2022.

I don't recall all too many? happy to be corrected.

Don't agree with it happening at any club including our own, my point being by putting down your previous club you're not only insulting the club itself but the fans and all the players you called 'mates'

Interesting. Surely we are not giving him up for nothing, we will lack depth in the halves if he goes.

We've got Madden to cover in halves and 2 hookers. Not sure depths is a massive issue.

I love how he speaks of standards when he was a bench forward at best for Tigers.

I dont think we released anyone who the club wanted to be part of our future.

Josh Aloia may be the exception but we have upgraded with the arrival of Joffa.

I would say Tyron Roberts Davis + Fitzgibben may nab two top 30 spots bringing it to 28...could mean one last signing before the season starts is on the cards?

Maybe he should have added that the "Tigers required a higher standard than I was producing, so they let me go"

The vibe at the Tigers was no more nuffies - so I guess I just didn't fit in any more.

Dumped, Bitter ex's are always the worst.

Just move on with your life sweetie. It didn't work out for us but I'm sure you'll find someone else's bench and if not, the ESL will always date you.

I watched the Riff Survivor Camp Video and to be honest they looked very underdone and soft compared to the Tiger's footage we've seen.

He was a plodder .. !! no leg drive when being tackled .. for guy of his size he spent more time going backwards than forwards in tackles .. !!

who even from Brisbane is worth pursuing apart from Haas and Staggs? which i have more chance of getting struck by lightning than us signing either of them two

The Tigers have shown interest in Isaako, Broncos weren't willing to release, Ethan Bullemore in 2020 before he re-signed & are still apparently keen on Pride Peterson-Robati. In terms of Staggs he is only looking at a year or 2 year deal (it puts Brisbane in the box seat), as it alligns with the new Brisbane Team.
