He arrived 2 weeks before the season started last year at the Storm. He is good enough to do it again.

JAC said cam did about two weeks of pre season one year and still killed it come round 1. He's that good and been around that long that he doesn't really need it

Has he earned the right to play without having a registered contract?

He can’t play or train with the squad without one.
He has a clear understanding with his club, coach and team. The Storm have no issue with it just like last year.

I don’t agree. 800k is for a marquee pickup. Staggs is one hell of a talent but he isn’t in that bucket yet.

For me Hastings signings (if true) is a no brainer.
We loose Reynolds and Walters all we have is a pretty big hole in the halves.
Inconsistent Brooks, untied Madden and Doueihi.
Hastings brings an experienced reasonably to low cost back up to the back line and perhaps hooker.
And ***don’t start with playing in the super league and being named man of steel in England is an easy gig***. That’s just rubbish from hyped up Aussie league fans that believe they are the gods gift to rugby league world.

Rangi Chase, Adrian Vowles, Dean Bell.....Men of Steel.

And those few were still pretty handy, Bell played 26 test matches, Vowles played origin and Chase was no slouch

Range chase was a reserve grader here , or fringe nrl at best . It’s not because we are elitist , it’s because it’s true .

Great player - yes. Great person - no.

You call him a great player but then measure him as a person by how he plays - says more about you than Smith. You have no idea the type of person he is.
