Who was the coach when Ikin played for Brisbane , Qld and Australia and What is Ikins relationship with this coach

That coach of Australia in 1998 when Ikin played, didn't coach Australia in 1999
What a coincidence, neither did Ikin

Ikin was OK but I didn't think he was that good

Pretty sure it was Fatty when he debuted for Qld and maybe Peter Louis at Norths, before he went to Broncos

Like his analysis more than Ikin and Ennis.
Need things to go right, start the season well.

Billy Walters is demonstrating the right way to act if you want to leave your current contractual arrangement unlike a couple of recent more high profile dummy spitters. This is exactly how anyone should leave a job. On good terms and with no stupidly unnecessary burning of bridges! If he goes to the show ponies I wish him every success-except against us!

People who burn bridges rub me the wrong way. You never know when you'll run into someone again, or when you may need a favour from someone from your past.

Ikin was OK but I didn't think he was that good

Fatty debuted him in origin, Bennett and Murray were his other QLD coaches . Most of his NRL career was under Peter Louis and Phil Econimidis gave him his debut.

I don't care that he doesn't rate the tigers
That's not my argument
He can say what he likes
That's his opinion and I have no problems with that

I also have an opinion of his playing career
Now go and compare Ikins club career stats with Milford
Milford numbers are better in try's, try assists, field goals and goals both in totals and averages
Yet Milford is below average in most people's eyes
He has played 2 origins
Why ? , because there are better players than him
Fortunately for Ikin he didn't have much competition in his position at that time
His career stats are not good at all
He was just in a good team that won games
That's my opinion and I will stick with that

Well your dead wrong that his career only happened because of Bennett. But then again you had Momo scoring GF tries for the chooks too IIRC.

I think payten is key. They have some handy players that wouldn’t fire last year but I think Todd is a fantastic coach, so who knows. Maybe they could surprise
