Seyfarth also playing himself into a new deal, early discussions for a 2 year extension. Madge is a big fan of this kid & his efforts over the last 2 weeks shows why.

Seyfarth was one of the most criticised players on this forum. Ironic really as he is one of the players who eptomizes what a Balmain and Wests player should be about; toughness, fitness, never say die spirit. Well done young fellow.

When he first came on I was not enthused. For his frame he looked underweight and didn't seem to have much impact. His time in reggies has done him wonders, he has been very good since being called back up.

You can learn skills, not attitude.

I would not say no the Wade G as long as its not long term and big dollars due to his concussions. I say 2 years with 3rd a CO as he would help develop the younger players and has that competitive edge we need.
Don't like the TPJ news and hope not correct.

I admire the determination to sign both players. I don't agree with all the publicity. It's on 7 News this morning as a raid We should have asked the Army if we can use the SAS or the US Army for Delta Force and Chuck Norris. This has the potential for an own goal if the mission is unsuccessful.

The media have made a massive story out of it hoping it doesn’t happen so they can gleefully put the slipper in again.

They just happened to get spotted on the plane and the journalists did their digging. It's a shame because if it's a first meeting it's probably a good chance of a discussion and the players saying they'll think about it but nothing comes of it

Of course as you said the media will go bananas if we don't sign them.

To be honest if we are flying up days after being up their for magic round then I think discussion are further along than a first meeting. Madge didn't fly back to Sydney until Sunday so flew back up 3 days later.

That's a good point mate. Hopefully there's genuine interest from them

I think Isaako is keen but it is more if the Broncos are willing to let him go.

Hopefully we can get something done with them. Isaako would be a major get for us if we could get him this year to play wing.

Not worried about his height? wiki has him at 5'11.

Not saying you need to be Saab height but somewhere in between would be nice.

But for wingers, in NRL in 2021, is being under 6 foot a problem? Maybe not. dunno.

Graham is on the downhill now with injuries and HIA's, would much rather TPJ, and not aid the sharks in outbidding us on him

i dont disagree. Not thrilled with the link as it reeks of mbye money/production but if he is cheap enough he could be another bryce cartwright resurgence.

i do not agree and he would be the exact opposite of what Madge/Hartigan are bringing to the club.Low work rate terrible attitude and seemingly does not appear to be trying to change for the better
