Can someone please share Chris Garry tweet re:NRL investigation about TPJ and Isaako approach? Also mentions possible immediate release of a player resulting from WT meeting with said players.

Doesn't matter TPJ and Isaako have no intentions of coming to the Tigers .. In Brisvegas the talk abut them joining us was all a huff n puff, the talk has gone cold .. they were just after a free dinner off us .. ;-)

I thought it was reported that they had permission to speak to the players?

It sounds all good. Broncos chucking a tantrum like a sooky 4 year old, talking about maybe standing them down from playing this weekend, saying maybe even contracts ripped up.

Good, sign them up from 2021. No need to negotiate with Broncos at all then.

Wow, if they are talking about standing them down or ripping up their contracts surely that means they are done with the Broncs, you don't talk like that publicly if they're a chance of staying.

It does sound like we went up there to stir the pot maybe?

If they’re considering standing them down then maybe it worked

Honestly to me sounds like a reason given to the media to feast over why they would've lost either. If our management is really that stupid which I really can't put it past them, then wow. But again, I doubt that is the situation.

Broncos sound filthy that we might have got them over the line is my suspicion.

BRONCOS drama:

It's understood Pangai and Isaako are lucky to be playing this week, with the club seething they met with Maguire without permission.

Considering Pangai's history, he could be released immediately.

An NRL investigation inevitable

Broncos coach dismisses Tigers speculation

Brisbane coach Kevin Walters has dismissed any suggestion he's allowed Jamayne Isaako or Tevita Pangai Jnr to speak to rival NRL clubs.

Both players were reported to have held talks with Wests Tigers despite being under contract until the end of 2022.

Walters said after the reports emerged he'd spoken with Isaako and Pangai Jnr, insisting both remain part of his future plans at Red Hill.

"We've sorted that out internally. I've spoken to both those players. We've got control of that," Walters said.

"(I) expect them both to perform extremely well tomorrow night.

"They don't have permission to talk to other clubs, no ... they're contracted here. Why would we want to lose them?"

Walters did confirm Isaako's management had spoken with Tigers coach Michael Maguire but those discussions were in relation to Maguire's other role as New Zealand's coach.

The Broncos coach also dismissed the notion that half Anthony Milford had played his final game for the club.

Milford has been axed for the second time this season for Saturday's clash with Sydney Roosters at the SCG with former Gold Coast playmaker Albert Kelly named to play his first NRL game in seven years.

With Milford off contract at season's end his future at the Broncos looks increasingly uncertain but Walters insisted the door wasn't closed on the 26-year-old.

"It's up to Anthony. He makes that decision, not me," Walters said.

"I keep saying that every week.

"Anthony has control of his career not the Broncos or this football club."

Walter also flat-batted reports the Broncos have held talks with Melbourne's Nicho Hynes.

"There's been some players that we are interested in at the moment we're not allowed to divulge who those players are," he said.

"That's a decision that we'll make down the track."

Seriously if we got them this season we would be legit premiership contenders this year. I feel like we are already starting to click, I think the MM/AD switch can really open up our attack by getting more ball out. If we added this pair on top I'll be straight off to the TAB.

Some serious damage control going on here by Broncos after some backlash, a lot still to be played out. Expect a Tiger response in the media over the next day or so threw "known sources".

They'll probably claim Milford and Lodge was at the meeting also, try to get them kicked out.
