I just saw a Tweet from NBWT saying basicly Nrl looked into WT approaching the two Bronco players, and all good. No dramas, no further investigation needed.

Just Broncos having a sook.

The NRL says there will be no formal probe into Wests Tigers approaching Tevita Pangai Jnr and Jamayne Isaako.

Suggestions Brisbane made a complaint but NRL CEO Andrew Abdo will not launch an investigation. More to come - Pete Badel

Instead of PR & journalism dribble, can NRL or Tigers please vehemently confirm that Tigers "had permission" to meet with them. If so, it makes Kevvy and/or the journalists look like idiots. I admire the determination to sign both players. I don't agree with all the publicity. It's on 7 News this morning as a raid We should have asked the Army if we can use the SAS or the US Army for Delta Force and Chuck Norris. This has the potential for an own goal if the mission is unsuccessful.

The media have made a massive story out of it hoping it doesn’t happen so they can gleefully put the slipper in again.

They just happened to get spotted on the plane and the journalists did their digging. It's a shame because if it's a first meeting it's probably a good chance of a discussion and the players saying they'll think about it but nothing comes of it

Of course as you said the media will go bananas if we don't sign them.

To be honest if we are flying up days after being up their for magic round then I think discussion are further along than a first meeting. Madge didn't fly back to Sydney until Sunday so flew back up 3 days later.

That's a good point mate. Hopefully there's genuine interest from them

I think Isaako is keen but it is more if the Broncos are willing to let him go.

Hopefully we can get something done with them. Isaako would be a major get for us if we could get him this year to play wing.

Not worried about his height? wiki has him at 5'11.

Not saying you need to be Saab height but somewhere in between would be nice.
