The vast majority of our week to week playing group aren’t invested in winning. The mentality and lacklustre attitude they show up with most weeks wouldn’t get the job done against a fair portion of reserve grade sides. The couple of young blokes we do have that care about winning are not yet in a position to overcome this.

Besides our dressing room had no power - the lights were out - so no one could see if we were upset or not.

Doueihi is the only one I notice showing some emotion. Ofahengaue is always walking around smiling and laughing with former teammates after a loss. Annoys the daylights out of me when you travel hours to the game and the players don’t give a rats about the result

That’s just how it is these days. They are all mates. Social Media has made everyone closer

Our forwards have been good, and can match it with the good sides. We also have more young talent coming through, we are well covered for a few years in this area. Great recruiting.
Brooks has found his mojo and looks good. AD also looks good. Laurie going ok and will get better. This is a far better side then last year, even though results don;t show it.
Now it's a matter of moving the dead wood, they have had plenty of time to show their skills,time to be tough and let some move on., I am confident in our building, we are short of 4 quality backs and i'm sure Hatigan is working hard to get these. Our backline appears to lack cohesian and a game plan, maybe Madge needs help. All up i think next year will see us with a far better side.
