If we got the leg up like Eels and South get most game we would be in the 8 as well.
With the way the game is going these days it is a massive help and easy for the refs to disguise it. The 6 again rule needs to go in my eyes.

i'd be interested to see how many for and against 6 agains the tigers have had compared to other teams
surely we must be on the lower end of the receiving end for them

Its not so much how many '6-Agains' that you get, its when in the tackle count that you get them. The majority of Parramatta's were on Tackle 3 or 4 whereas the Tigers were getting them on Tackle 1.

Exactly what I thought. Clearly got lucky with the Moses drop ball and we took our chance. Could forgive anyone who turned off after the Moses try but at Halftime, we were well in the game considering the circumstances

on the scoreboard maybe, if you missed the first half and saw 14-6 you would think we were in with a chance, but from what i saw on the field we were lucky to be at 14-6

there was 2 eels teams that could have came out and we got the ones that came to play ball, they weren't going to throw away that game after half-time, even if blore didnt get sent for 10

plus it was the little ones dinner time and the tv goes off so i was just getting the updates

first 9 rounds we had 44 set restarts awarded (top of the table) and gave away 33 over the same 9 rounds
39 penalties awarded and 37 conceded over 9 rounds
interestingly, we have a pretty good correlation between not conceding set resets and losing

So we have been given the most restarts in the game. Can't blame that then.

Obviously only up to Rd 9. We got pounded in the restarts in the Penriff and Parra games.

It’s also where you get them and when you get them. No use getting five in a row at the 70 minute mark when your 30 points behind. Sutton is a genius at balancing the ledger when the horse has bolted. The ref on the weekend handed Parra most of the ball on a platter in the first half. That results in the players getting gassed and than discipline goes out the window as the players try to slow the game down.

Have said it since Peter V decided we needed a new game, the six again is the biggest negative in the game

It’s also where you get them and when you get them. No use getting five in a row at the 70 minute mark when your 30 points behind. Sutton is a genius at balancing the ledger when the horse has bolted. The ref on the weekend handed Parra most of the ball on a platter in the first half. Your spot on it gives the refs complete control over the outcome of games without being able to be scrutinised. Add to that the new high shot rules and they can now completely govern who the winner will be .
