I would say it’s a good sign. Kev can save face by saying he’s releasing TPJ as they got capewell.

If they release him now they will want someone in return for this year

Best thing Iken cld do to stamp his authority is to say nup...Kevvies son hasnt been a 1st grader for 27 years...and as current cellar dwellars were not going to give him a 5th chance to confirm that...!

Broncos have 600 or so kids on scholarships,some of which will actually make it to the big time..why hire the coaches son who never will?
And besides,Iken needs to get this "coaches favorite" attitude out of the joint and focus on performance and potential...and this is the perfect way to start!

It's all about putting pressure on the clubs that want the release
They may have squeezed another $50'000 out of the Warriors for the release
Or they may have got a player in return
If they lose both Lodge and TPJ now, who are their replacements now
