Lodge to warriors is a weird one. They already have a heap of big, one dimensional forwards and he's just another one. He'll play alright but he's not exactly suited for the new style of footy

I think lodge is really underrated (as a player not a person) he always gains momentum with his carries and gets on the front foot with a Quik play the ball

He's certainly not a bad player I just don't think they need another prop like him, they've got plenty of tough hard working props they need some more flair around the middle of the field

AFB and Lodge is a pretty good starting middle. Absolutely craps on ours.

I'd have Twal over Lodge any day of the week. as a bloke and a footballer.

As a bloke Twal no question but as a player I’d take Lodge every day of the week. Twal’s a bit of a plodder imo… we look better when him and Tamou come off.

Every potential recruit or re-signing needs to be able to answer this one question for you .......do you see them getting us to a GF ....????

Need to give Broncos some credit considering how bad they are going...
They said there would be some good news coming for the club in a few weeks and now they have added Ben Ikin, Picked up Capewell, Offloaded Lodge, Most likely offload TPJ to Roosters / Dogs and you can already see the joint turning around.

I surely cannot be the only one who is disheartened with the way our club is going as we have picked up nothing of substance. Our biggest excitement is waiting on the massive news on if we are taking up the club options for Joey and JTJ next year..
I don't want to hear that we need to remain patient anymore... We have waited for too long and we need something.. I sure hope Sheen can bring some attraction to the club because we are going to need it..

Isaac Liu let go...Corder retired...TPJ at the SBW fight, in Sonny's camp (with Cooper and Mundine)...Sonny is his mentor...

TPJ is an absolute certainty IMO to end up there. His manager will have used us purely to establish market value...i.e. Tigers value you at 650 mate, let's see what the Roosters come up with...and they now have the money.

Hoping I am wrong, but this is basically groundhog day whenever we are close to getting a big name.

I honestly don't know why Roosters would want him, he's a potential weak link. It's alright for a tearaway or a desperate team, but Roosters are all about structures and I just don't know if TPJ could ever truly be trusted not to be baited by good sides.

Yes Roosters have JWH and he's often been a hot-head, but that's not to say Roosters have completely taken the edge off JWH, he's still the most penalised player in the comp in 2021 and he can still be a totally loose cannon.

Imagine Roosters taking to the field in 2022 with Radley, JWH and TPJ all starting, with the head-high crackdowns, they'd be a man short most weeks.

We are the biggest doormat in any professional sport.. Something needs to change urgently at the club.

I haven’t seen anything to even suggest the Roosters are after him though. Let’s wait and see what happens.

Unfortunately we have watched this show far too many times and know the ending..
Our Last big name player was Josh Reynolds and we know how that went. Until we get someone of quality I am not convinced.

The 'we are landing TPJ' was beaten up by this forum by people with 0 sources other then foxsports and the daily telegraph. Believe day 1 the pom said we were 50/50 at best.

POM also said we were in the driver's seat to sign Addo Carr too.

I don't know how close he is to the club but I think he's a fan like the rest of us with maybe some link to some one involved.

Also the news changes fast, so sometimes his mail might be spot on - on the day he received it.

Reminds me of the whole Luke Lewis thing, Lewis said himself he was ready to sign with Tigers, then had a last-minute change of heart about relocating to the Shire. I think Wade Graham rang him up at the death and swayed him.

Or Tedesco, signing with Raiders then reneging after a H2H with Farah. Depends on which day your mailman visits.

My guess it's the gradual trend of social media - a need for constant content, no patience, short attention span. It's a Tiktok reaction to every story.

Was this earlier in the season? Haven’t seen him recently in the Canberra NSW Cup side and there was no lower grade footy last year.
