In no major shock, Billy Walters has signed on with Brisbane for 2022 according to Pete Badel. Wonder if it helps our chances of a swap for TPJ

Hmmm the fact that Ikin said “Billy won’t be coming here this year “ has me thinking that maybe we’ve missed out on TPJ. Would have thought it’s a straight swap.

I was thinking the opposite, the Broncos upgraded Willison as there was interest from 4 Clubs so that makes 31 contracted players, so they need to shed 1, there has been no announcement from the dogs,(the cool off period expired yesterday),the Dragons the 3rd club interested have increased their offer for Finucane, so the Tigers may pull a Bradbury in landing him.

Can you confirm they are at 31? Remember they lost Lodge recently. Ivan wouldn’t be stupid enough to upgrade a player to a squad there is no position for.

Travel was open between NZ and Aust for a couple of months and will hopefully reopening after current situation eases.. The wording of the NZ statement sounds like they would have kept him.

Gould going to the dogs is the best signing they have made in years.At least he will try to get them out of the hole they have been digging deeper every year.He will probably attempt to build from the juniors up like we are and Penrith have done
