I wonder if it's Wests Tigers we would have the cash.

Its the Warriors mate.

Are you sure?
Manu is THE most classy centre for years. If we don't make a massive play then we must be led be friggin morons.

Players of his caliber aren’t signing for the Tigers from the Roosters.

Be great for members & fans to hear some juniors signing news too given the club’s focus on junior pathways. Even that news gives us all hope & knowledge that recruitment is moving ahead.

On the subject, James Hooper mentioned in his blog we have lost promising junior Jaxson Rahme. This kid was an emerging SG Ball Tigers prop & dominated at the recent NSW school carnival. Very disappointing if true.

But I thought there was a strategy! Yeh right !!

We snapped up that other prop and Saukuru brothers . Maybe he saw limited game time here , as those boys were all nsw/ nz / aus squad players .
Seriously why even follow the club ?

These posts annoy me. You don’t know how much Snake or other fans have invested in the club, both financially and with their time. Just because someone has a differing view of how the club is going doesn’t make them less of a supporter.

They only annoy you because they invalidate your own world view , and undermine your position .
I’m not saying blindly follow the club , but when he says things like “I thought there was a strategy , yea right “ , how is that a differing opinion ? It’s nothing of the sort . Is negativity for negativity’s sake .
If 1 kid who has above average talent , not elite talent , above average , leaves, it doesn’t undermine the whole idea of building . Nor does signing some gun player either .
A series of elite juniors leaving or signing , along with pathway degradation , or improvement may , or may not .
It’s series of events that leads a pathway to what may lie in the future .
And outside of a really poor first grade , which sux , it’s mind boggling , but anyways , we have won at all junior levels , signed smart people, brought back Tim sheens , along with Kimmorley , and continue to sign elite juniors .
The law of averages says this strategy will work, it just takes time , and patience . Something guys like you and snake , have zero time for .
For me , it’s been ten years , what’s another one .
Because I’d much rather sustained success , than 1 or 2 good years then not much.

Seriously man what are you rambling about? I said don’t question others support for the club as you have zero idea what their support looks like.

I pretty much disagree with everything you write but I’m not going to tell you to support another club.

Sorry to bring this back to a Signing and Suggestion chat.
As Murray Talaugi has announced resigned I stumbled across this tidbit in the article.

“The Cowboys were offered the services of English twins Innes and Louis Senior, who are contracted to Huddersfield, but any move now appears unlikely for next year with Taulagi now set to re-sign.”

I just looked these boys up.

21 yo 6’4 and 100kg.
Wing and Centre
Anyone know much about them.

It sounds like they were keen to try there hand in Aus.

With the cowboys out of the running I wonder if our new head of football may have a word to them?

The Coyboys obviously seen something in them to want to bring them downunder. Would be a first having twins at Wests Tigers , literally playing next to each other .
At the age of 21 , though , i'd be more inclined to sign those at the same age who are here in australia now that have tasted NRL and are next in line.

We definitely are. What big names have we signed in the past 5 years? Seriously, tell me and I'll name a bigger name every other club has signed. Every single one. It's not all doom and gloom but it doesn't help to deny the reality.

Reports out tonight that Broncos could lose Tesi Niu. I'd sign him up to play centre and be a backup fullback.

Why would you want Niu? Has anyone seen him play? He's even worse than the guys on our team. Joey Manu should be our target

Joey Manu and Angus Crichton are off contract in 2022. We should throw the kitchen sink at them. Both in positions of need too. With extra years of development for our young spine and pack, bringing those two in could allow us to take a big step forwards into a dominant side

I've seen him play. He's fast, strong and a genuine game breaker. He's done some very good things for the broncos but he's he's still raw and has plenty to work on. It's a realistic signing for us unlike Joey Manu. For a start Manu wants to play fullback

I don’t buy players from clubs that we beat convincingly.

Our spine is good.

I'd play him at centre, not in the spine.

They are not too bad the Innes twins probably worth a look better than what we have. Probably get them at a good price

Politis will throw the sink plus the invisible plumbing.

Angus chiton is the rite player to pay overs for he is consistently the best second row in the game I’d pay huge overs for him

Hooper didn't bother to acknowledge juniors we've signed from other clubs.

Hooper tried his hardest.
Kent went to bat for us though.

Hooper tried to ride those coat tails but the fakeness is too strong.

Kenty is right tho.
We aren't trying to continue these cycles of long contracts for players on the decline.

Seeya Finucane.

Niu is 19...
He looks promising.

Better than our current crop of starters.

I too, like him at centre.
