Lachlan Lewis will be on the market soon..

I actually don't mind him, but I don't think he is a half. I think he could possibly be effective as a ball playing lock or second row. He has a good pass and defends well. He is also tough and competitive. He might need to bulk up a bit, but he is pretty solid as it is.

He has a nasty habit of being a human speedhump and gets knocked out in the process. Not sure if he’s brave or stupid

It is Confirmed he is stupid, just now.

Bulldogs player investigated for allegedly stealing from the NRL, trying to sell online

The NRL’s integrity unit is investigating Canterbury player Lachlan Lewis over a “serious matter”.

Channel 9 journalist Danny Weidler broke the news on Twitter on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs confirmed in a statement Lewis has been stood down pending the investigation, after the club took the matter to the NRL.

Weidler tweeted; “serious matter: Bulldogs board discussed the matter. The issue was discovered by the club in the last 24 hours”.
Weidler later tweeted again, revealing; “Lewis is alleged to have taken property belonging to the team and NRL and attempted to sell it on eBay”.

The NRL provided each team with a number of home comforts for the team room, such as a Playstation and other electronic goods.

It is alleged that Lewis was caught on the hotel’s CCTV, wearing a hood and taking a soundbar speaker.

At this rate Gus will create his cap space with ease. The players will do it for him

450k a year and you’re doing that? Does he have a gambling problem? If I was on that sort of money and could only do it for 5-10 years you better believe I’d be avoiding anything that was going to get me sacked.

That was the figure I saw. That’s not huge money for an NRL half.

Yeah but it is for depth which is what he is

Taylor and Norman are both terrible on the field and would not even be a good model off of it.

Huge no. Would rather look at Crossland, Lachie Lewis, or even Asiata as a stop gap before we wasted money on either of those two. And even still I wouldn’t be rushing to get those 3 either

Crossland has potential

Anyone else think Jason Taumalolo could become available in the off-season?

He's contracted until the end of 2027, and just turned 28, so he'll be 34 in his last season. I'd definitely think about picking up his salary if it was subsidised by the cowboys.

Madge will have a 13 he knows what to do with like Burgess a big body that's how madge likes our13
Jason T would be a huge Signing for us

What?

Dogs only have depth players in the halves. I’m not saying he’s good value but that’s the figure I saw quoted and I could believe the Dogs paying him that much.

Let’s wait until Nov 1 to see who we can get for 2023. Then try get a release for 2022. Same as what we did for Daine Laurie. Any young halves coming off contract in 2023?

anyone watch trent robinsons post match conference? Dear lord he rinses Henry Perenara

Sure did. He didn’t miss did he. Robbo handles himself so well in press conferences. I can see why the players put it every week for him, he’s definitely got their backs.

54 - 12. Robbo is learning what it's like to coach a team under the salary cap. Loved his presser but his team got beat convincingly because they didn't have the number of superstars he is use to, and the other team did. Welcome to our world.

Btw if anyone has access to the courier Mail Online there's been a story or two on our other key schoolboy signing Chris Faagutu, Captain at Marsden SHS in next week's final. Feel free to post any content is you have access.

I actually think if he buys into Paytons plan. It will reap rewards for the cowboys.
Reuben Cotter will make a very good modern day lock and alongside McClean Jason T could be a juggernaut mid field. You still get the leg drive, the post contact meters etc, but you get the better defence, line speed and leg speed with Cotter at lock.

It was deserved Henry must have been watching the Simpsons or something else, he certainly wasn’t watching the game.
