@batboy Hastings was one of Wigan's best all year the team was ravaged by injury and they broke down simple as that but all year the one stand out has been Hastings ability

Hastings, please bring that ability.
Just don't be a Todd Carney. Easts and Manly have let you go when they clearly saw you had talent.

Played all over the park too, at some points was even playing FB due to their massive injury toll.

The match I was most impressed with him was the All Stars v Poms match. Even with Sezer playing 7 it was Hastings who barked orders both in attack and defence for the entire game.

Even with Peats at 9, Hasting would often sense the opportunity to get quickly on the front foot and dart into dummy half and take a quick 15m. The rest of the attack played off the back of this ruck speed.

If nothing else he'll bring enthusiasm and will to win, like a more skillful Josh Reynolds.

I sort of compare him grit and go wise to a Victor Radley, fears no one. Prob doesn't have the defensive abilities that Radley has but is a far better attacking player.

Just my opinion - Taylor is not worth a bean.

It would be like getting rid of Brooks and replacing him with an inferior Brooks - Dumb as...

It really wouldn’t. Ones making 800k next season and the other would make 250 and could be less. The only half worse than Brooks is Croft

From what I read, Taylor's manager is asking for $300k. Small outlay, small risk but great potential.

thats about right for him - I dont rate him but at that wage he will get a run somewhere. You think the raiders would go for him if they rated him, Canterbury as well.

Madden and potentially our other junior halves would leave you would think if we signed Taylor

Not really the point I was getting at. My point is he is a sporting celebrity hosting a sports radio program and a fan of the team. Unlikely he's going to make that statement on air without solid info.
