I hope Clarkey is right. I haven't listened to that show in ages, I assume you mean Michael Clarke. Wests supporter.

From memory Clarkey is a pretty staunch Tigers supporter so unlikely he'd throw out that claim without good mail.

Being a supporter doesn’t automatically mean you have good mail. Some on here have terrible mail.

Not really the point I was getting at. My point is he is a sporting celebrity hosting a sports radio program and a fan of the team. Unlikely he's going to make that statement on air without solid info.

So if no signing is announced, then what?

In GNR’s defence there have been times where Taylor has outplayed the best halves in the NRL. Hastings hasn’t.

Huh? What lol. Tsylor has outplayed the best halves in the NRL? Mate he was hyped up more then brooks and has played about the same number of good games as brooks. He’s gone from a million dollar contract to not being able to get a contract for $250k by 16 nrl teams. I think I will happily take my chances with Hastings over Taylor. No one knows what we will get with Hastings but we sure as hell know that we will get brooks 2.0 with Taylor .

It's true, go back a few years and have a look at some of his games. There's a reason why he got paid $1m.

According to official NRL contract list, Kei isn’t getting upgraded to top 30 in 2022.

Napa is not bad at a good price, only 28. He is a much better player than what he showed at the dogs.

Can't think of any players who have gone there the last couple of years that haven't regressed in that shambles of a team.

Why would we waste money on Napa. Would rather a young player be promoted. Sign someone from Roosters, Panthers reserve grades (Leniu comes to mind)
