The article states that James Roberts option hasn’t been taken up by the Tigers. Instead he’ll be on a train and trial for $1000 a week and will need to trial in the pre season to make the team. Sounds like good business by the Tigers in keeping him around while our centre stocks are low without the commitment of having him in the squad yet.

Good option for everyone I think. More power to JTJ to take this option up as well, it shows a commitment and willingness to work hard at it. Regardless of how it works out for the club, its a positive indication of where Jimmy is at which is a good thing compared to where he was.
