So who's the back up if we miss out on Hodgson? Wouldn't mind blowing the dogs outta the water and Signing Mahoney

My thoughts are that hooker is way down the list of priorities for WT right now. We have a gun in Liddle and a fine prospect in Simpkins. How many hookers do we need?

Liddle is not a Gun. He's unfit and has a poor passing game

How have you concluded that Liddell is not fit?

The fact he's completely gassed every week 29 minutes in.

I don't think he can get to the fitness level required to be an 80 m hooker

Liddle is not a Gun. He's unfit and has a poor passing game

How have you concluded that Liddell is not fit?

The fact he's completely gassed every week 29 minutes in.

Liddle got too big too quickly. His body can't handle the added muscle. He used to be lean and have good service. But being lean made him injury prone, so he bulked up to prevent injuries. He can get there physically and be a good player. Just needs to get his body right.

I’ve always thought if we want a hooker so bad, why not go for Mahoney. I’d rather pay 800 for him than 500 for Hodgson.
