Hastings definitely has a lot of captain and leadership qualities in his arsenal.

For that alone , if I was looking in who should captain (I'd pick AD.. but with him out....) Hastings for mine ticks all the boxes and is so far ahead of anyone else in the team, 0 games in the jersey or not.

We've been using Tamou (15 minute turkey) and Brooks (doesn't talk and definitely doesn't lead from the front... like we've seen Hastings do in SL)

Brooks been discussed in detail multiple times and sometimes it's not even worth discussing his flaws with fans who like him so much.

Having those qualities, And using them effectively are 2 different things however...
They along with him have also gotta wash with 16 other blokes every week.

He's also got his main job to do as well... If he does that, the leadership stuff will flow naturally...

Has more runs on the board. To claim Hastings is in the conversation to be captain when he’s unproven makes you look as ridiculous as you think people look for defending Brooks for years. If he comes out this season and absolutely dominates and takes charge, then let’s talk about it next off season when we actually will be looking for a new captain. But for now, it’s Tamou. In the meantime, keep your pants on and wait till Hastings actually gets on the field before putting labels on him.

Feel if Hastings is showing the signs in training he should be afforded the same but I understand your points and its not up to me....

Took AD for a spin in his new Ferarri the other day.

I could defo see him bringing some energy in training.

We, as fans, don't see everything.
