Dave Riccio on NRL 360 just said Madden's management approached Raiders to play in halves while Fogarty is out. Raiders declined at this point, sticking with Schneider. Nothing stating Tigers are interested in doing a deal.

However, surely the only way Tigers would even contemplate letting him go this year, is if it is a short term loan to get NRL experience and we could recall at any point. I think they would also want to lock him up for at least 2023 before loaning out.

Douhie's problem is he is too versatile, he makes a good centre and lock number 6 and at a pinch if desperate fullback. He is also coming off two knee injuries

Just saying, we have better suited to the 6. AD had some time at 6 and regardless of what you read in the news, it wasn’t working. Then Madge looked for someone who didn’t like getting tackled, so that he could get some clean ball to our outside backs, which also obviously didn’t work.
The way to win games under these free flowing rules is to build a wall naturally, but also make that ball do a lot of work in attack, similar to what we were doing in 2005.
Playing 2 off the ruck gives you extra time that you can’t afford to waste.

Douhie is a good player for sure in the 17 just think we have better options at 6 for the team

Nearly had him earlier but raiders wanted a swap that was turned down.
Maybe this is Sheens still trying?

Bit harsh... played semi finals for the Roosters before us. Second string with three premiers. I'd say that's reasonable..

Maybe Sheens had a chat. I can't vouch for the tigers side just what I hear from the raiders

Up here in Newcastle nothing but positive things being said about their club but nothing like that with ours.

with all that, he is still a better player than any current WT centre. By miles!
