BENJI MAKING MOVES

Incoming Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has reportedly contacted Roosters superstar James Tedesco about returning to Concord.

The Tigers announced this month that Marshall will take over Tim Sheens as the Tigers head coach in 2025 and he’s wasted no time on the recruiting front.

Marshall has already sounded out Eels superstar Mitchell Moses and now also wants his former Tigers teammate Tedesco to return.

Marshall has made his intentions to Tedesco clear via text, according to the SMH.

However the same report said Tedesco’s management claimed they have not heard from Marshall or the Tigers.

Tedesco is contracted at the Roosters until the end of 2024.
The original piece is from Weidler...

The Roosters were seeing red after hearing a whisper that James Tedesco is on Wests Tigers’ hit list. They were even told new Tigers assistant and Tedesco’s former teammate Benji Marshall had sent a text message to Teddy to tell him of his intent to lure him back to the Tigers. Marshall has reportedly sent a similar text to Eels half and another former Tigers star, Mitchell Moses. I checked with Tedesco’s management and they said there has been no contact from Marshall or the Tigers.

Roosters seeing red shows their hypocrisy and alone is worth it. Precious petals.

the family club we’ve been for years , other so called family clubs - only a few exist and that are also from Sydney exclusively - are also the strugglers , year in year out .
our club should be a business , that’s what all successful teams are .
If a player is good enough ,keep him/bring him back , if he’s not good enough they very rarely want them back . Family and business don’t mix well .

Good. It's about time we started getting under the skin of the so called elite clubs. Hope we annoy a few more.

All this talk of Brown, Moses, Teddy, Woods, Papz and Teddy.
Is just reminding me of what could have been...

Who was the coach in charge when all these guys decided to Split?
I remember Cleary told Moses he wasn't wanted... so he left and tanked.
Then they all split...
