🥲 what could of been ay. I remember the day he texted me about Teddy saying they’d got him. Couldn’t believe it. My mate was the media manager for the Chooks at the time, works in radio these days but still in contact with a fair few players. Obviously isn’t in that inner circle anymore and things change daily so it may not eventuate, but just sharing what I heard and that there’d been discussions.

The only other person I occasionally heard things through was Ava. Played some junior footy with him and would see him at catch up BBQ’s every now and again.

Api is a club option for ‘25. Confirmed it on an ep with Fletch and Hindy.

And Sheens said Hastings was playing for us in 23, Gus said the Dogs weren't interested in Ciraldo, Stains said he was committed to Penrith and seeing out his contract. I don't believe the media front anymore, there was too much smoke around Brooks wanting out for quite a long while

Sua is staying to see out his contract with Dragons. He did look at the Dolphins to reunite with Wayne Bennett and move back to Brisbane with his Family. This could be on the cards next year if Dolphins strengthens the roster but is hesitant to sign for a club who will struggle.
 
Maybe Sheens/Benji are mindful of the impact of those divisive personalities that have an inflated opinion of their worth (i.e. Nofa, Doeuihi). I can see these 2 moving on if the arrangement is right and we have guys ready to take their roles. Also wouldn't surprise if Kenny M either medically retires or goes to the Warriors if that is his desire.

Then an opening for a Cotric (as rumoured in another thread) & Jimmy Ngutlik as a project and possibly Moses, Dylan Brown or George Williams in the background.

What about Josh Curran (pending outcome of his court case). His name came up a few months ago.

+1 Matamua is a huge talent but still has work to do physically before he is ready for FG. Pole, on the other hand, is ready now and can be a great player for us.
