We’ve just gone to 28 players, not 29.

And also, if we managed to sign Moses or Williams it’d be for 2024 not 2023.

Moses won't arrive until 2024 if he did decide to come here.

If we get Bateman that's pretty much it.

Id say it’s to do with our first choice 13 leaving last week.

Matamua is the long term 13 and may be needed early in 2023 now that Hastings is gone.

I'm fairly sure Joffa won't be playing lock. Marshall and Sheens told him as much when they first took over. wouldn't be surprised to see Bateman start at 13 with Blore in the back row. also a possibility Matamua gets upgraded to the Top 30 and could end up starting the season at 13.
