Poor comment
Go and start a thread called “official signing thread - like, contract has been signed”
And see how many people read it.
No one has to engage in debate on here if they don’t want to
Are you the judge of how much “engagement” someone must have before they can write a rumor they here.
That’s called suppressing free speech.
Everyone should be entitled to post what they want - if people want to engage great - if not great.
Otherwise everyone who is annoyed should go and start the official signing thread I listed above.
You’re ruining it for the guys like me and others who want to hear rumors.
That’s why we’re on this thread
That’s like people going into the Luke Brooks thread and telling people off for posting comments about Luke Brooks.
RUMOURS … and whether you think they’re not qualified enough to be a rumour is only your opinion.
I repeat - stop ruining it for the rest of us
I agree with Tucker, Pom had absolutely no inside word and was making it up. If you think about it logically, he was posting years ago and it would be weird to have a person with inside knowledge still hang around through all the different administrations and coaches and still be getting inside info and still be leaking. But if he was leaking, it must have been one of those double talk leaks where someone was feeding him fictitious information to distract everyone, because he got very little right.
Also, he'd mainly only post after a news report suggested something and his strike rate, like those rumours in newspapers or online he read, was abysmal.
I've never once argued he shouldn't post, but I treat it as entertainment and fiction. I'm surprised at how many still believe he's legitimate. The Pascoe rumour was poor play by him, he went all in on the rumour and messed up. Mostly he was quite clever about giving himself an out, and partly we all here are so desperate to have an insider that we overlook all the many times he did overreach.
I have no doubt he's an alter ego of someone here.
I don't really think it's offensive to say I don't believe someone. The constant 'make or break meetings' with Moses became comic when he started reporting them in October last year so surely it's acceptable to question it when it was just the same old supposed deadline again and again.
