Hahahah... jeeze... taking a step back..

Why, on what planet does having Brooks play on again next season make us better, who knows Flanagan might go alright, but if you just keep doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result it is just insanity. I am not saying sign Flanagan, but if that's all we could get, then I would get behind the decision, at least it would mean we are going to try something different for a change

I'd rather sign Jordan Rankin then Kyle Flanagan.

Why bother signing someone going side ways..

May aswell sign Brooks for 500K, with 100-250K taken off his contract with the veteran 10 years service crap.

If that is the case, surely Brooks is not extended at any price, we all know if he stays, he will be playing, he never gets dropped, so time to go

I accept brooks is not the answer to our attacking and organizing issues but surely he’s playing at an acceptable first grade standard last 3 weeks? I read a stat (happy to be wrong) that he tops the forced drop outs for the comp?

I’m a firm no to Flanagan. I think persevering with wakeham is the same thing.

Who knows? I know, most of us know mate, if Flanagan is our half even you will be preying Brooks was still here.

If the Tigers can't get Sanders I would be happy with Jake Arthur, he is a massive step up on Wakeham and Smith as a foil for Brooks and would blossom not being burdened with his father's club.

The slimeys can go & get fugged, for all I care. I'd be bitterly disappointed in our club if we did the Eels any favours. They are my most hated club. I was at the SFS when the fans booed Taniela Tuiaki for getting injured & he never played another game in the NRL again. I remember they didn't want to sell any tickets to us Tigers supporters for the Easter clash at Commbank a couple of years ago. If Joffa is unhappy about playing time, I'd be fine with him going to any other club other than the Eels.

How can the Eels even talk to Joffa without the Tigers saying he can leave? I don't understand the rules around player discussions at all...
Aside from that, do the Eels really need Joffa? He'll just be coming off the bench there too?
This is a strange one.

You can talk to anyone at any time. You just can't get them to sign a contract (or try and Register one anyway) it's all shady as hell

I'll caveat that by saying I think Brooks is a better footy player but not at halfback

We need halves so would be happy to swap Joffa for Jake Arthur but it doesent nessecwrily mean a swap because we might want to open up a spot for a half from somewhere else.

For our Team Pole can move into the prop rotation and Matamua to lock or Bateman with Blore into 2nd row. We have lots of forward depth and need halves so would be OK with the decision.

Joffa signed an extension in May last year but since then we have signed Klemmer, Bateman, held onto Ipap which was doubtful back then as well as seen Pole come out of nowhere. We also are prob much happier and clearer with our young forwards coming through too which we will need to open up spots for and imo was always going to be Twal or Joffa who had to leave at some stage

I think they will become the Tigers and we the Wiggles. Is there any obstacle to the players having different colours instead of just the one design and the skipper becoming Feathersword ?
