Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not having a crack, but saying we're chasing a Manly player after getting Fulton, but we may never hear because they won't release, is pretty close to impossible to disprove.

Pretty specific on Contract terms, others have guessed it. Lets just see how things pan out.

Most teams put up a bomb, and maybe 3 or 4 players follow it to the possible catcher with at least one going up to contest the ball, our players maybe 2 run toward the catcher with an occasional 1 player contesting.

Also we have a terrible team when it comes to backing up our own runners, yesterday one of our forwards breaks the line and runs 50 looking for support and only finds one player near him,
he spots him but 5 mtrs behind and he gets tackled an loses ball, and that player trying to support him was another forward, where was any of our fast backs to try and finish the move off.

AND WE HAVE THIS HAPPEN REGULARLY, FORWARDS MAKE THE BIG BUST AND OUR SPEEDSTERS ARE NOT IN THE PICTURE.

To be fair, it was our fast player that put the forward through the hole only to get drilled by the opposition fullback for his trouble.

Haven't heard anything about Simpkin and Penrith, but I suspect it has more to do with Api playing origin and needing to back up. If Api picked up a knock, Da Silva would've likely come in.
I know some are worried about blooding Da Silva early, but I'd rather he played 20 off the bench than doing an Elijah Taylor at dummyhalf scenario if Api was out.

He has offered nothing all year, just isn’t at NRL level.
I’d love to know what Seyfarth does wrong.
He regularly made 2-3 tackles on a row last night. He never misses a tackle and was on the field when the Raiders had most of the ball, so had little opportunity in good attacking field position.
His hit ups were strong without being spectacular, but he was also regularly a support runner, something most of our forwards do not offer.
He is a much better player than many other regular NRL bench players and is now approaching his prime.
The Warriors wanted him and I can assure you he will be picked up by a rival NRL club and will definitely be a regular in the NRL top 17 wherever he goes if we don’t keep him.
Anyone who watches much of the KOE Cup can clearly see Seyfarth, Blore and James are all in the top tier of fringe forwards across the NRL. They are all young enough to keep improving and are extremely valuable players on bottom end contracts.
