Question how many Tiger's games have you watched this ?

Does anyone honestly believe that if Benji was coaching the Broncos this season, without doing this so called coaching apprenticeship that everyone likes to fantasise about, that the Broncos would be doing any differently?
Of course it’s only an opinion, but I see no way possible the Broncos would be doing any worse if Benji was their coach.
The point is don’t worry about Benji’s credentials as a coach, give him a chance ti put a decent side together and then judge him.
I will say though he might need glasses if he really believes Aidan Sezer was a better option than Jack Cogger.

Thanks Tom. I think something has to give at the Cowboys too with Dearden warranting a larger contract, Clifford reportedly returning next season & Duffy their future half.

Dearden’s a very loyal character and is indebted to Payten for allowing him to flourish. it will take a huge offer to prise him away from Townsville.

Knights sign Cogger for 3 years as a back up which is surprising and now looking at Sullivan.

Meanwhile at COE coffee and haircuts are in progress.

I was going to say something similar. It always seems like we sit and wait instead of being aggressive and proactive. Deals are being completed within a matter of days however anything related to us seems take weeks and months.
Bit like the 2 week break we had after Brooks was injured but we didn't go out and try and get any new HB to help. We just suffered with Wakeman for the next 6 weeks.

And Bellamy definitely wasn’t flash, neither was Robinson or Warren Ryan or Sheens.
It’s a trend not a spike mate.

He needs new material though, he used the "desperate clubs do desperate things" line again

So the imbecile Hooper thinks we paid too much for the Fainu brothers.
Both have been elite players progressing through the grades and both this season have been highly dominant as an 18y.o and 19y.o playing NSW Cup.
Highly likely they will both become better than average NRL players at the very least, money well spent.
Now he’s stating we are desperate by wanting to sign Jayden Sullivan. He’s another that starred coming through the grades and has since shown glimpses of his ability at NRL level.
I don’t think Wests Tigers have labelled him as an out and out controlling 7 or more of an instinctive ball running 6, but he would be a more than handy acquisition either way.
Does this idiot not realise we will be signing a more experienced game controlling 7 either way, whether that be Aidan Sezer or somebody else.

If Sullivan does sign it will be knowing he will be given a chance to be the game controlling 7 he wants to be, but also knowing we will have someone else ready to take his place if he doesn’t get the job done.
Also the insurance of him being able to step in at 6 if our 18y.o recruit in Fainu is not ready to be a regular NRL starting player straight away.
