Jahream has come into grade looking like a 50+ gamer. he has all the tools to succeed in terms of instincts, motor and attitude, he just needs to fine tune some things, which I think he will do over the next couple of preseasons.
it is going to take something truly generational to unseat him, as I think Jahream himself is generational.
Nah he a spine playerI think Heath might get a crack on the wing initially. He could transition as a centre. Has played well at centre previously. But your right he has a bit to do to get there.
So did Trent Merrin.I've always liked Matt Moylan.
Any information on who will be our assistant coaches for next year.Holbrook going to the Roosters
Thanks for the post. Very interesting.I usually post here and there about stuff I might've heard so just gonna do one big post every now and then to save the time so here we go:
- On the topic of the Dragons, I've got a really good source within the club who reckons Jayden Sullivan is expected to be announced within the next week barring any late change of mind. I believe both parties have come to an agreed figure and personal terms have already been agreed for nearly a week now just paperwork being processed should be official soon. They also confirmed that Flanagan has rejected any approaches towards Lomax and the view is to have him starting fullback come round 1 next year. I know Lomax's uncle and Zac has expressed he feels as if the culture is starting to shift positively lately and has been assured he's looked at as a long term player. Continuing on the Dragons there's a massive clean out developing as Flanagan isn't wasting any time turning over the roster. Moses Suli has been offered to a few clubs including us and was apparently told "no thank you". Suli's deal apparently in the region of 500-600k a year.
- In term of recruitment, the club have reached out to Canberra representatives in regards to Nick Cotric's availability. Nick Meaney has also been identified as a future target come November 1. Franklin Pele's representatives have reached out to the club to gauge interest come November 1. Unsure about the progress about these 3 just know there's interest.
- I know there's been reports of Blore being shopped to SL clubs. I may be wrong but my source insists that Blore will re-sign on 2 year deal. There is however concerns around his health and being prone to injuries but Sheens is a big fan of Blore.
- Simpkins is being aggressively shopped around.
- Belief around the club that Stefano wants to be here long term with plans to take over as captain after Api leaves and they believe when the time comes he'll extend.
- There's word around the league that Ilias may be on the outer at the Rabbits. This is personal opinion but if he becomes available I'd be seriously shocked if we don't make a play at him. Not saying it would be a good or bad signing but I'm pretty confident we will be one of his suitors due to the multiple connections. Benji will be driving that.
That's all I've got.....
no clue - John Morris is a name still floating around but besides that I'm unsure.Any information on who will be our assistant coaches for next year.
6'3? Surely not...Pretty sure Meaney is quite tall and from what I've seen of him at fullback he's quite good under the high ball.
He's nearly 190cms.
Holbrook going to the Rorters apparently, even though Robinson said yesterday there won’t be a coaching shakeup…lolno clue - John Morris is a name still floating around but besides that I'm unsure.
Just checked.. he's 6'26'3? Surely not...
He also said Cronk's job is safe - I'd beg to differHolbrook going to the Rorters apparently, even though Robinson said yesterday there won’t be a coaching shakeup…lol
I guess no one knows who is safe until uncle Nick gives the all clear. He also said Cronk's job is safe - I'd beg to differ
Of course he is... He will also bring Tino as well of courseHolbrook going to the Roosters
If I have anything to do with it, it'll be John Morris (very good man manager & bringing out improvement in individuals according to some articles I have read from his time at the Sharks). If not, I'd look into Steve Georgallis & Matt Parish.no clue - John Morris is a name still floating around but besides that I'm unsure.
The only reason why the Rorters and Dogs were after himOf course he is... He will also bring Tino as well of course
Well I don’t think Trent liked him as much as Sally did 😂So did Trent Merrin.
Isn't Ryles leaving, he will take his spotHolbrook going to the Rorters apparently, even though Robinson said yesterday there won’t be a coaching shakeup…lol
The Pathways at the Sharks has been so successful. Plus the coaches would know him well.If I have anything to do with it, it'll be John Morris (very good man manager & bringing out improvement in individuals according to some articles I have read from his time at the Sharks). If not, I'd look into Steve Georgallis & Matt Parish.
A couple of left-field options could be Gareth Ellis (AC at Hull FC since '21) or Brett Hodgson (Defence coach at Wallabies so would probably be unavailable until after RWC ends in Oct).
I doubt Ben Hornby or Josh Hannay would leave their posts for us.
NFIThink he too good and needs to be in the starting side eventually.
Bula still has has some work to do for me.
Thank You bptigerJust spoke to him , he told me there is no photos in the dressing , but every home game they put posters up of all the old Newtown favs , cheers bud
