Here’s some dot connecting more like guessing … the Blore can depart rumour may be because we have another backrower lined up for ‘25 - Kulikefu Finefeuiaki. Has been a regular in our new NSW Cup coach Aaron Payne’s side (Blackhawks) for the past 2 seasons. I think @kade7 or @teddy23 said he was on our radar a couple of months back.

After tonight's game I think Stef. was very ordinary. Very disappointed with his energy output/aggression.
Kept on the bench for a long period and did nothing on his return. We need a top centre and another front rower, Blore can fill that role for now.
There has to be some top players on show at this tournament that fit the bill and are available. Assuming our recruiting team are taking note?

If he’s told he will likely spend the next 2 seasons playing NSW Cup if he stays with us, it would then be in his best interests to look at heading to the UK Super League where he’d be one of the best wingers in the competition and would likely earn the wage we are currently paying him for the next 4 seasons.

Hopefully he uses one of the worst displays of defence ever seen on any field as motivation.
They should play Payne Haas swatting him like a little kid, Matamua then jogging alongside Haas for 20m only to be toyed with again on a loop before every game and ask him if that's what he wants to be remembered as.

100% I made comment on Matta months ago along with Tumeth , I would move both out of top 30. Neither will make it , Keep Blore , buy a centre

Unfortunately I think Matamua will be caught between the cracks. Touted as the next big thing, only to be lost as younger guys like Laulilii come through the ranks.

Olam is a spent entity and signing him would be worse than signing James Roberts. Losing Blore for him would be ridiculous. Blore was pushing for starting spot with us and Olam was playing QLD cup. One is on the up coming off his first relatively full season and showed a ton of promise and the other clearly fell off a mile. Terrible business if we do it.

Unfortunately I think Matamua will be caught between the cracks. Touted as the next big thing, only to be lost as younger guys like Laulilii come through the ranks.

It will all come down to this year. He will have every chance to figure it out this season and Kit is still only on dev squad so Justin will have one year and one year only to demonstrate he shouldn't be swept aside for Kit. I agree with you I think Kit is the better prospect for NRL. Justin has "ESL star" energy.

Our younger players require an incentive to stay or they'd be off to a stronger club. It doesn't mean they don't have the talent to play NRL, just that they require time to develop. Tumeth looked very comfortable in the NRL trial and defended strongly.
