Doesn't Alaimalo already come from QLD cup where he's been mainstay and players player? He's either ready to go in NRL or he isn't. I'm keen to see him thrown Toas spot asapboth have a little to work on (Alaimalo with acclimatising to league, Faataape defensively), but if we can give them a couple of months in Cup to work those things out, I think they could unseat our first graders very quickly.
That's Faataape.Doesn't Alaimalo already come from QLD cup where he's been mainstay and players player? He's either ready to go in NRL or he isn't. I'm keen to see him thrown Toas spot asap

I cant remember him having a poor attitude?Doueihi is unlikely to be fit enough to even get on a field before July. And then given it's his third ACL it will take him a long time to get the confidence, strength and agility back in his knee. If he ever does get it back. Even before the injury he was hanging by a thread, no clear position, a poor attitude, terrible in defence.
I doubt any club would even consider him for 2025 on a minimum wage deal. Possibly a club like Dragons who may be desperate, but a train and trial somewhere is most probable. He'll have to prove his fitness, form, and what position he falls into. Dose he have the work rate to play in the back row? Probably about his only option left
Send Benji back over the ditch and grab the 10 he played with he was quick and worked well with the young fella
Like Nofa - Doueihi's crap attitude is evidenced by his lack of commitment and effort in defence....I cant remember him having a poor attitude?
Alaimalo will be a gun , just needs some time to learn the nrl craft , better than Nofa I reckon , he is quick , can move well and can jump and catch , also seems fairly strong , I look forward to him pushing for a spot in nrl side mid yearFaataape is from Q Cup.
Alaimalo straight rugby
I spoke to his brother at the start of the year(around new years),top bloke. He said injury wise he wasHope we've done our due on Olam's injuries... I have more faith now that I would have last year but it is a worrying comment to me.
I don't think Alaimalo at 28 could ever get to the levels Nofa was at at one pointAlaimalo will be a gun , just needs some time to learn the nrl craft , better than Nofa I reckon , he is quick , can move well and can jump and catch , also seems fairly strong , I look forward to him pushing for a spot in nrl side mid year
Alaimalo is almost 2 feet taller than Noffa plus he can ball play plus he’s quicker.I don't think Alaimalo at 28 could ever get to the levels Nofa was at at one point
He will do me , I’m looking for players that will be better for us now not in the past , Noffa was great for us a couple, years ago I would not say any different , but he declined in quality then went off the rails a bit and didn’t fit this clubs new stance , but don’t write this guy off I watched his reels and he is pretty tidy , he may shock a few as he can do plentyI don't think Alaimalo at 28 could ever get to the levels Nofa was at at one point
Ah fair enough.Like Nofa - Doueihi's crap attitude is evidenced by his lack of commitment and effort in defence....
He makes "business decisions" to preserve his body and avoid the collision in a collision sport!!
Nofa has been disappointing the last few years sure but let's not forget the guy is the clubs leading try scorer, won Dally M winger of the year & was in contention for a Blues spot at one point. Alaimalo is 28 years old... if he was a couple of years younger sure i'd be backing him but at 28 years old coming from a different sport it's going to be tough for him.Alaimalo is almost 2 feet taller than Noffa plus he can ball play plus he’s quicker.
Are you serious?
Worries me too.Hope we've done our due on Olam's injuries... I have more faith now that I would have last year but it is a worrying comment to me.
Ah my bad.That's Faataape.
Stop peddling the blatant LIE that Nofoaluma was ever in consideration for Origin...Nofa has been disappointing the last few years sure but let's not forget the guy is the clubs leading try scorer, won Dally M winger of the year & was in contention for a Blues spot at one point. People tend to forget Noffa was actually a very good finisher and high level winger in general.I don't think Alaimalo at 28 could ever get to the levels Nofa was at at one point
Noffa was a man that ran lines like he was still in under 5s! You know the parents are yelling to him which direction to run. Pathetic.People tend to forget Noffa was actually a very good finisher and high level winger in general.
