Wouldn't they have to cover some of the 800k for the next couple of years?Dragons aren't going to contribute anything: they've released him from 2025, which means he's a free agent after this year and the Dragons have no obligations to him. In theory they might kick something in for 2024 but I can't imagine why they would - they have no incentive to do so.
I can't imagine anyone else is going to pay him that, and this is why we were stuck with Nofa. We had to offer him a payout to get him out.
