Allan Fitzgibbon, top 30 contract anyone?
Yeah, let me know when we land Dom Young or Cobbo 😉No … we need better
There's a big gap between those two extremesYeah, let me know when we land Dom Young or Cobbo 😉
We keep it extreme over here braThere's a big gap between those two extremes
Toa's ability isn't the problem. We have all seen what he can do. It's his lack of standards in doing his best thats the issue.Toa has a signicantly better tackle % at centre then either of Olam or Naden. Fully fit Toa is our 2nd best centre

The cupboard is bare.If you want to try to move from 17th to 16th ..enjoy your reserve grade signing ..
I want to move into the Top 8 😎
That’s what Luai is supposed to be. As for the outside backs, whoever we let go, I can’t see us replacing them with anyone better. Players like Cotric aren’t going to be any better than anyone we already have. Shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic those kinds of roster changes. The cupboard is bare.
We need some big needle mover recruits in the backs but there's very limited options available.
His body shape is not an issue if you demonstrate fast leg speed, high energy and a high work rate, however I have not seen these traits demonstrated by him in the small snippets of game time where I’ve watched him play this season.Kit Laulilii played Ron Massey Cup. Can’t really comment on why cause I don’t know. But I’ve never really rated Kit Laulilii much, he is actually deceivingly small, standing a 5”10 or 178cm. He stands at the same height as Soni Luke and Justin Olam just in a larger frame which is hard to see how he could be successful as a lock forward.
I hope he comes good but who knows. Like others I’m really worried about our backs, Lobb doesn’t fill me with too much confidence nor does Declan Casey, though I do see some potential in both, but we both now how “potential” at the Tigers usually goes.
I’ve seen a few comments questioning why we haven’t been seen trying to lure backs but isn’t that a good thing? We aren’t leaking anything to the media and I highly doubt we are just twiddling our thumbs doing nothing. But again I say who really knows cause 99% of stuff on this forum is rightly so, just speculation, just as my comments are.

Ideally I'd love for em to release a bunch early and overhaul the entire backlineI get what you are saying .. but they need a few established first graders to move the needle… they are just spinning their wheels wasting their limited Top 30 spots on the likes of Lobb and the Rugby Union guys in the “hope“ they come good .,,
they got one spot left on their Top 30.. and you want to spend it on this guy playing for the Bears,in the hope they find a diamond in the rough? And thats it then …if another established guy shakes out from somewhere next month,,, we got no room for him in our Top 30..

AD is walking back into that centre spot.
Exactly right Demps, we are nearly a 3rd of the way through the season, we have already missed the boat on a couple of quality outside backs recently signed elsewhere.Ideally I'd love for em to release a bunch early and overhaul the entire backline

Because that is as fast as he can go....AD is walking back into that centre spot.

No only the clubs that hate losing do that and do it well, except letting guys go early is not what they do
